Chapter 2: Day I part 2

Maddie POV

I begin to make my way down the Long hall full of lockers and students. block a number I walk up to is 23 but it's not mine it's my best friend Kayla's. I see her standing there making out with her boyfriend disgusting I think to myself " hey Kayla " I say in a happy kind of tone. I hate it when she has her boyfriend with us. I hate being the third wheel i open my turn my back inside. take out a few textbooks put them in my school bag that I used to walk around the school with and I began to wake my way to class. math the first class I have on a Monday morning so much fun. Kayla and her boyfriend have the exact same classes and none of them are with me I know that her dad paid the school to have her in class with her boyfriend he just forgot about me that day. Kayla's parents love me like I'm their own and I'm very grateful for everything that they've done for me. no it's surprising but they got me my first car when my parents didn't even consider it.

Tristan POV

I began to make my way into the cafeteria pick up an apple or something. when that Maddie girl walked into me it hurt I wasn't that much taller than her so her face kind of hit my neck and I whispered to myself" why did it have to be you " ever since I was a kid I've always known who Maddie was. even in elementary school she was always that girl that brighten up the room whenever she walked in.
