Fighting The King

Alaric and his diplomats went to the throne room once again to begin negotiations. The diplomats began by proposing Alaric's idea, "Your majesty, how about a challenge as proof?"

King Frederick raised an eyebrow, "I'm listening."

The diplomat silently breathed out a breath of relief, "I feel like we need to prove our strength to you, and that could be done with a fight between Alaric here," he motioned to Alaric, "and one of your strongest fighters."

The Trostan diplomat's dropped their mouths; after all, Weton was known for its warriors being amongst the strongest in the world without technology.

King Frederick smiled, then giddily laughed, "I like it!! I'll show you what we're made of! Wait one moment, please."

King Frederick stood up and walked away, giving orders to a few of his silent guards as he left.

The diplomats on the Irigian side were happy that Weton agreed to a fight. It was a risky move, but now, Alaric needs to win.
