"What sort of a hospital is this? Do you guys even have a degree? Why don't you know what does it is supposed to work for her? How is it possible that a surgeon that has experience of 30 years has never encountered a patient that is similar to her? I am sure you have dealt with thousands of patients by now and you still don't know how to manage correctly adults. You have risked the life of a child? How could you be so irresponsible? You have been charging us so much money which, apparently, you think grows up on trees. Let me tell you it does not. We've worked hard for that money. You are trying to grab all of it from us. Yet my child is in that ICU suffering."
"Ma'am we are very sorry. This is a case that is unheard of. Her body is not reacting like an average individual."The doctor didn't have a stunned expression at the outburst of Mrs Chohan instead his face was expressionless.
"So you mean to say that a person should be average for you to treat them,"
"Maam, it is very important that we deal with the condition right now." He closed the operation theatres room behind him.
"Sorry about that. You are not allowed inside." said the guard empathetically.
Mrs Chohan turned to Fajar, seething with anger. "Do you know that I have paid $500,000 worth of hard cash in the name of hospital bills? They are looting us. I have not said anything because I was thinking that my daughter is getting better but they seem to just care about money. They're trying to worsen her condition so that they can make more money."
"I'm sure, Auntie, that is not the case. Asia will get‐‐‐"
Rani tapped on Mrs Chohan shoulder when she was talking to Fajar and asked her to talk to her in private.
Mrs Chohan didn't give a shit about what Fajar was saying and left with Rani. She went back into the hospital room the one in which Asia was hospitalised.
Fajar was a little bit offended by how a maid was given more importance than the best friend. She blamed the action on grief.
Inside the hospital room, Rani was consoling Mrs Chohan, "Baji I can feel it in my bones that all the fractures Asia baji had, are now healed. The emotional pain that she is feeling right now can also be treated. Since treating emotional pain is way more difficult as compared to treating physical pain. The amulet is given in a very different manner."
"I don't get what you're trying to say."
"Remember, baji, I gave you the amulet for the physical pain and the fractures."
"Yes, I do."
"You do remember that the doctors have said that the physical aspect of her injuries have healed to a certain extent but there are gonna do some X-rays to confirm."
"Yes, they did say that. But I think you were not here when they told me that."
"No. I was here. I heard all of it. How would I know otherwise?" said Rani confidently.
"OK. Maybe I just forgot." Said Mrs Chohan, dubiously
"Buji I don't want you to get sad you but the emotional pain Asia Baji is in is so much that I cannot even begin to tell you."
"How do you know about her emotional pain?"
"Baji I have always had a vision for such things."
Mrs Chohan gave Asia an intense look maybe to judge the credibility of her words.
"I cannot see her in so much pain knowing that it can be fully healed. I want to help you and Asia baji," a sincere tear rolled down Rani's smooth cheek, "Baji I can help you take away the emotional pain too, as the physical pain."
"Please do something if you can. I'm very worried for her." Mrs Chohan shook her head and sighed.
"Baji the process for the eradication of emotional pain is rather complicated. It is not As easy as giving a generic amulet to somebody for the elimination of Physical pain. There is a complicated procedure that might not be easy to go through in this hospital."
"What do you mean by that? Do I need to take her to some other hospital?"
"No. I mean usually, doctors and hospital staff do not believe in spiritual healing and they are annoyed by the ways spirituality."
"Why are we supposed to care about their annoyance? This is a private matter. They do not have any say in this matter."
"I do understand but we need to keep it private. We should not be telling it to anybody else. It should remain between me and you."
Mrs Johan became a little sceptical. "What exactly do we have to do?" She asked warily.
"We need a little bit of blood directly from the heart."
"All the blood in a body is from the heart."
"Also we need a little bit of blood from her brain."
"But all the blood is the same," Mrs Chohan rolled her eyes, "do you not know basic science?"
"Baji, I do know that all blood in the body is the same. But it is the demand of the protocol."
