From princess to waitress, how ironic?

"Come on, we can't waste much time." Krystal went to the sink in an attempt to wash her plate but ended up breaking it. "Ooh, I'm so useless!"

"Don't say that, Krystal, it was an accident." Quinella said, trying to lift Krystal's spirit and she sighed wearily.

Krystal attempted to pick up the pieces but was immediately stopped by Felix who held up her hand.

"I'm pretty sure you don't know what happens when you attempt to pick broken plates from the floor." He said and she looked at him in a way. What was he trying to say? "You'll only hurt yourself if you're not careful."

"Thanks. Now let go!" She said and he let go. "I'll just..."

"No need. I'll get it." Quinella chipped in and then Krystal realised what they were trying to do.

"I can't believe you two!" She said and they both looked at her. "I couldn't get it at the beginning but now I do. You two are still treating me like a princess. You think I'm not capable of handling these small things, so you want to do all that, right?" She inquired even though she knew it.

'The princess is too smart.' Felix thought feeling guilty. She had figured it out so quickly.

"It's not that, Krystal, we just don't want to see you stressed or hurt."

"And so what if I do? What part of 'I want to live an average and normal person's life' do you not understand? Getting hurt will leave me scarred and that's a reminder, isn't it? Isn't going through stress a big part of life? When I chose this road, I knew I'd face problems but I didn't expect you guys to try and keep me away from those problems. How will I learn?" Krystal looked composed but she was angry. Her tone could tell.

"We're sorry." Quinella spoke up, not daring to look her in the eye.

"I for one apologise. It's true that I still see you as the princess and plan to carry the burden for you." Felix admitted sincerely.

"Then stop it! Right now!" Krystal ordered strictly. "I want you to see me as your younger sister, nothing more nothing less and you..." Pointing at Quinella, she said, "...I don't want you to treat yourself as a maid in this house. We're both girls. Though I don't know how to do chores, I'll learn with time. So take me as your big sis and fill me in, okay?" Quinella nodded.

Felix sighed. There was not much he could do. If she wanted him to treat her as his sister and not the princess, then he'd do just that.

They all took a cab and dropped by at the pastry shop to show themselves to the owner before going to register Quinella at school.

At first, the principal thought both girls wanted to register because they both looked so young but hearing Krystal speak, he was convinced that she was no small girl. She spoke with such fluency and wisdom that the principal was impressed.

"Do you wanna start school today?" Krystal asked and Quinella nodded.

"Yeah! Need to get to know the people and the school. So I'll meet you guys at the shop." She said feeling excited.

"No problem!" Krystal said.

"Your books and everything else are all paid for. Be sure to collect your uniform and sportswear before you come over. You'll officially start tomorrow." Felix said and she nodded, turning to leave and she waved. They waved back and retreated to flag a cab.

Felix took a job as one of the bakers. He was good at that. He knew he wouldn't be able to attend to customers, so he was only going to work from behind while Krystal, who had so much enthusiasm, worked as a waiter.

From princess to waitress, how ironic?

There was already someone working behind the cash register and the delivery boy, who rarely showed up. According to the owner, the delivery boy only reported to work when there was a delivery.

"Thank you, come again!" Krystal said, showing a hospitable smile. She was no longer putting on the sweater, but a T-shirt with the shop's logo on it and an apron tied around her waist.

She held a round tray and watched the last customers leave.

She turned wanting to head back and drop the tray when the little bell above the door rang and the doors opened. She turned and saw a grey haired boy with emerald coloured eyes looking round. The first thing that came to mind was 'handsome'.

"Heard we got a delivery, so I'm here." The boy looked like he was talking to her but he was actually talking to the girl behind her.

"Yeah! This address and this floor." She, Carly, the girl who maned the cash register, walked over to him and handed him the paper. "This is the order." She handed the boxes to him. "Be careful on the road, okay?"

"Sure!" He smiled revealing a perfect set of white teeth which, for a certain, captivated Krystal.

And there he is, folks. our charming male lead
