Unforeseen Connection

"Do not make me repeat myself."

His velvety voice sounded again in my ears, making me doubt if my ear had a filter now. I could hear it all, slightly hoarse yet as smooth as silk. It sounds like the feeling of raindrops.

Lucy pushed me lightly before I realized I was the one being talked to, and I bowed deeper before following quietly with three other girls, one of whom happened to be Sun, and the other was Lily, who seemed to dislike Rose for some reason only known to her.

I followed without a word, acting like the other two, who were perfectly dumb. They looked innocent, not because they acted like that, but because they were.

I raised my head slightly, looking like a lost lamb, staring at their watches with fascination and their shoes with amazement.

Damian walked in the front with silent footsteps yet a feeling of frost, not just in his eyes but in his whole being.

He felt like a walking ice cube that looked so freaking good at the same time.

Sun and Lily stared in lust at the man who walked with his back straight, while others cowered in fear.

Damien's footsteps stopped, and he suddenly turned around to look behind him, just like he sensed something.

He looked at the three ladies who stood with his eyes on them, then at the three men who also stood straight. It was obvious that the three ladies were for the three men, who also looked like they were swimming in wealth.

The three men looked at the lady in the middle, who happened to be Rose, while Damian noticed their gaze but didn't care.

All he cared about at the moment was a mole; he knew, no matter what, his father would find every means to implant a mole in his business. Looking at the three girls, he looked at the last one, who happened to be Lily, who kept adjusting her clothes, trying to look presentable.

"Change her," he said with two words, and he turned around to enter the room, which was opened by the guard.

Lily was surprised; she didn't do anything wrong, so why was she suddenly changed?

She almost felt like kicking her feet and yelling, but one look from Lucy made her silence herself and walk away to be changed by Lotus, who happened to be a black American.

I was silent, even though I knew the reason for the sudden change. I didn't fidget, nor did I stumble, but I knew I couldn't be caught at all costs.

I walked over with elegance and entered the room. My smile was pretty and poised, but I didn't set my eyes on the strongest man in the room, but on the man beside him.

The three girls sat without a word, as if waiting to be called by one of the men to satisfy them, but instead, the four men started discussing business. Leaving the three ladies all to themselves.

Rose knew what she was meant to do; instead of watching the man, she stared at the beautiful cup, which held an orange and yellow drink she surely hadn't tasted before because they weren't allowed to touch drinks like this.

Damien raised his eyes to see the girl staring at the drink in front of him. Her blue eyes, which looked like they were made of glass, sparkled as she watched the drink for over a minute. At one point, she raised her beautiful fingers to quickly check if she had suddenly drooled at any point.

Rose seemed to know what she was doing, but like the other two beside her, she was just a dumb little pony.

I knew his eyes were on me for more than five seconds now; I could feel his stare. It was too powerful not to be noticed, unlike the two ladies who were looking around the VIP room in awe. It was something I had seen more than once, and all this wasn't new to me, but that drink in that cup seemed to take my mind far away yet so close.

My eyes moved up to see the man staring right at me. Our eyes met. His gray orbs stared at my blue, glassy eyes;

Her eyes and her innocence made people wish to add cuts to her skin to make her burst with colors.

It made men lust to have her in their hands and treat her like a sex doll. A doll for everyone's pleasure. Her skin made people wish to take her to the highest form of pleasure to see how many colors she could have on her skin—would she look pink, red, or still as pale as ever?

Damian raised his hand, signaling I should come closer, and I did as I was told with elegance, as if the riches were dripping out of me. My gown made me look like a living fairytale, walking towards a man who couldn't be called anything short of a fairytale.

He signaled for me to sit right beside him, and the men who were in the room felt like sculptures that couldn't say a word as they watched the boss call the woman they all had their eyes on towards him.

They booked women for themselves, not for him, so why was he suddenly interested in one today?

"Have it," Damian said before stretching the drink towards me.

I stared at the contents of the cup before opening my lips slightly. Damien didn't think about it before feeding me with his own hands.
