Romance Among Humans

Note: this book was originally - Navigating Romance as a werewolf among humans. This is an untraditional werewolf story. Cover art is not my own. Please let me know if I need to take it down. "In order to survive the changing world, we must learn to live among humans or risk starving." it wasn't the ideal situation, but the only option to stop the pack and most importantly, their pups from suffering due to a lack of food. "Humans are weird though. How can you get used to being around them and their confusing nature?" Apryl asked, looking out across the campus. "You get used to it after some time, plus it's not like we're the only ones who live among the humans." Keith replied, shrugging as he looked over the campus as well. This story follows Apryl Dark, eldest daughter of the Dark Mountain wolf pack as she and her family adjust to living among humans and the trials that face them. The book may start out slow, but there will be a mix of both romance and action as the story progresses. Happy

She was happy that she would have some time to see her family before she had to go to campus

Apryl didn't like being forced to stay in human form.

She had gotten used to being able to sleep as her wolf at night.

After the movie scare, Apryl was beginning to second guess if she had made the right choice by staying with Keith.

He didn't know that she would react that way, but it was still going to make it harder for her to sleep that night with how nervous she was feeling.

Worse yet as she was away from her family and didn't know how they were doing. She wanted to contact her mother and find out but at the same time, she didn't want to risk waking her up if she was already sleeping.

"You know you're safe to come back in now. I put in something that's far more harmless the that movie." Keith assured her as he came into the kitchen where she was still hiding.
