Chapter 28 - Human Hybrid (ii)

"What?" Drake stared at the creature before him. She was a giant, with old wrinkled lines all over her body. But the most out of character as a human, this woman had a hump, with her bones coming out through the skin. She also had fangs stuck out at the edge of her mouth. 

"Arggh!" As she roared, Drake felt the ground shaking. Her figure was almost a hundred times bigger than drake. As she stepped her foot outside the room, the entire wall started cracking. 

"Drake! You have to get out of this building first!" Hora reminded him. It was the first thing he thought of as the building was about to collapse. 

"Right!" Drake saw a window nearby, and as Hanilia started running, Drake jumped out of the window. "Hora!" He was already there in the air, when that old hag stretched out her arms, about to reach him in seconds. 

And Hora with his big form figure, flew below Drake, catching him right at the time. Hora flew around , and the wind blew hard, dashing Drake from every side. 

"What the hell is that woman?" Drake asked his spirit guide. 

"You know, long ago, there was a time when heaven cursed every human that made a contract with a monster." It was known all over the spirit realm that humans could coalesce with monsters. And when humans did that, their power would be much stronger. But what couldn't be avoided was the destruction of their body.

Hora looked back at the woman, pitying her as she wouldn't get to live a long life. "That woman was the example, that two different creatures could be coalesced. Only that she destroys her human form in the process."

This was so horrifying. "Will heaven not do something about this?" 

Hora shook his head, "No, it was a suicide in the end."

"Well then, let's focus on this." Drake said, as his eyes were roaming around the area. "Hora, put me down on the field below." It was a field behind the tower. The perfect place to continue the fight. 

After Hora safely landed, Drake looked back at the woman, who was still destroying her surroundings. "Hey! Old hag!" Drake called out, shouting at her.

Hanilia then, looking down at Drake. She forced herself out through the narrow window, leaving the scattered room for the field where Drake stood waiting.

Hora then said to his human, "Drake, this woman, has lost half of her consciousness. When two creatures become one, the soul that lives in the body is two. There would be a time when the monster took over all of her consciousness." 

This was something unreal to be considered as a reality, since the idea to coalesce with a monster was giving the creeps to life. 

The ground was shaking again when Hanilia, directly jumped out to the field ground. She was there right before Drake, roaring so loud, making her voice echoed throughout the air. 

Hanilia then, taking out a green liquid from the bottle. Drake thought this woman going to throw him some poison as that's how a Sora fight, but he was kind of taken aback when she gulped the entire filling. 

As soon as she drank it, Drake saw a green slime, starting to come out from her skin. She then, without wasting more of time, threw the slime to Drake. Compared to her huge figure, the movement was fast. Only that Drake was faster than her. 

Drake moved out from the place where he was standing. And while he looked back at Hanilia, her entire body was covered in thin green slime. "What the fuck is that?" 

The green slime that was thrown at Drake, was right now burning the grass it touched. This familiar situation, he recalled some monsters in the west forest have the same kind of power.

"This woman is crazy." The sound coming was from his old friend, Elmon. The bunny monster that was quietly living in the spirit dimension, right now started to show his presence. He appeared right behind Drake, as his eyes penetrated Hanilia. 

"Elmon.." Drake regarded him. 

Hanilia, in her state like that, was surprised when a monster appeared suddenly. "You have interesting friends." She said that to Drake. 

When Hora and Elmon were in invincible form, not a human could see them. But this old lady was able to see their presence. 

"Before it was a dragon, now a monster? And it's not even a low tier monster." Hanilia muttered, she was curious about the identity of the man in front of her. Not everyone could befriend monsters and heaven creatures. 

As the situation became more complex to Drake, he was wondering what thing could stop this woman. As a Sora, she was so powerful that his poison could be immune to her. No other choice then, Drake let out his sword, positioning his grip and ready to launch an attack. 

With his speed, Drake aimed his sword at her, planning to slash her body into two. His sword power was strong, and it did slashed the woman. 

"Arrhgg!" Hanilia screamed. She touched her wounded chest. But it was not red blood that came out. More green slime were storming out from the open wound, dripping to the ground. 

Drake looked back at his sword. The shape was no longer a sword, since the iron was eaten by the green slime. 

"You!" Hanilia shouted, "It hurts!!" She screamed while throwing more slime at him. And when Drake moved out again from when he was standing, Hanilia let out a louder scream, throwing the slime above. It rained and burned everything that it touched. 

"Drake!" Elmon, with his monster power, was making a shield that was able to block the slime. A human shield won't be able to handle it. "This is a monster's blood." He told Drake. 

Drake gritted his teeth. "How to destroy it then?" 

"Take care of the resource. You need to burn her, Drake" Elmon answered. But if Drake did that, Hanilia would die. He needed more information from her. 

"Drake," Hora called out, he was already in his small form, protected under Elmon's shield. "Use this, the dragon tears stone." Hora gave it to Drake. "Make a rain with this. A substance from this stone will block the monster energy. As that happens, the monster will be separate from her host, which is Hanilia's body." 

"Fly me above," He asked his Friends, "And Elmon, cover my back for a moment." 

"Got it!" Elmon widened the shield, as the green slime kept coming from every corner. Within second, he turned his size bigger, into the same state like Hanilia. Within his speed, Elmon ran toward the woman, grabbing both of her hands. "Now Go!" He shouted to Drake. 

Drake hastened flying to upper space with Hora. He then stood between the wind, with his arms stretched wide on his side. 

Elmon smirked as he knew Drake was already above in the sky. With his monster ability, the green slime didn't give any effect. And he was strong enough to handle her power. 

"So, you're just a low tier monster." His smirk widened, "You know the deal, low tier monsters like you, won't be able to touch a high tier like me!" He punched her down, making her body fall to the ground. 

"Erg!" She cried and vomited more of the disgusting green slimes. And as soon as her body fell, a rain was pouring from the sky, wetting her from head to toe. If it was a rain like usual, then she's fine. But this rain was different. When the droplet of it touched her slimy skin, she felt something about to change. 

Her breath was ventilating, as the green slime started to evaporate. She felt the burn sensation all over her body. "No.. No!"

"It's about the time you go back to your natural form, human." Elmon said that as he understood this woman was about to transform back. Only that it wouldn't perfectly be the same like she was before. 

Her body was shrinking, as her skin was more wrinkled than before. She looked so old. "No! Please, Tuna!" 

"That must be your monster name," Elmon said, as he was back to smaller, more human size. Even though he had some connection with Hora and was habitually dealing with Hora's energy, something from the dragon tears were still making him weaker. 

"Screw you!" Hanilia gasped as she was out of breath. "Tuna.." She pleaded once again. But with the power of dragon tears raining on her, that monster finally started to detach from her body. 

And true, a green slimy monster was coming out. His size was only half of Elmon's size, and the shape was irregular, like a mud tried to form into something solid. Truely, how could a low tier monster like him be able to eat humans, moreover a user. 

How stupid this woman could be, he thought. Well, everything that happened had happened, "You are mine!" Said Elmon, shifting to his combat form.
