Chapter 22 - The Fallen of Sora Tower in West Zone

Lara was also there witnessing how Drake stabbed the Samoa flag.

"What's the update outside the border?" Drake asked.

"They run. I was sure they were from Sora Union." Lara looked around and her eyes met a woman that was curling on the ground. "Who's that?"

Lara turned the woman's body, surprised how once a beautiful haughty woman could turn into a state like that.

Like fish on the ground, Savanna was gasping so hard when her eyes pleaded for help.

Drake thought her pain must be back right now as her brain started to hallucinate. Losing oxygen could be somehow scary.

"I don't dare to ask what you have done to her." Lara said.

Marven looked at Savanna, "That's so terrible. I remembered how this woman was so arrogant owning the Zone West."

It was better for her to die than turning into a state like this. But Drake couldn't kill the woman just like that. Not yet.

He nudges her body using his foot. "She will survive. Tell the others they can come."

"I already sent a message. I bet they are already on the way." Marven said. Though four of them were moving in secret, he only told Ash and Delaney to be ready.

Drake then looked at Lara, "I need you to do something for me." He needed her to heal the two children. Though he could do it himself with the amazing Sora power he had, he never treated any patients before. Things like this Lara or Faryal could handle. Treating children surely was not his expertise.

Remember Faryal, he hadn't yet seen her figure, "Where's Faryal?"

At the right time, sound of a person coming were heard from his side.

"That's her," Lara was actually glad her friend was safe. "Why did you just show up right now?"

Drake saw something bothering her. "What's wrong?"

With her worried expression, she told them,"I met some children on the way here. They all are in a bad condition. it just.. very bad.."

"I see.." Drake let out a long breath, "Actually this was what I need you to help."

He then took Savanna with him, carrying her on his shoulder. "I'm going to the safe house, please wait for the others, master.

Follow me right after they came."

Marven nodded, "Leave it to me."

"Don't forget, you have thirty minutes left before the drug effect started worn out." As Drake said that, Marven clearly understood what's going to happen with his body after the resistance drug lost its effects. The others had to come early.

Finally arrived at the place, Drake was glad the two children were really there. He didn't have to look for them if they stayed.

Drake then placed Savanna back on the ground. He'd take care of her later.

As Lara and Faryal saw the sight of two children before their eyes, nothing but pity was shown on their faces.

Faryal came closer to them. The children were literally in a sitting position, hugging each other. The one who looked younger was holding her friend tightly. It was also seen that her friend condition was so bad. Her skin was torn as she looked so skinny with no energy left.

"What's your name?" Faryal asked.

Scared, the little girl answered Faryal with her soft voice, "I'm Kira." She looked back at Drake. When he told them to run and hide in this place, she actually didn't want to follow his order.

They didn't have a place to go, that's why it would be great if he could help them again. After all, it was the same man who helped the kids escape.

Lara then spoke to the girl, "Okay Kira, we had to check you and your friend's condition. Don't worry, we will help both of you. Right, Drake?"

Drake nodded, "Yes, help me treat them."

After minutes Lara and Faryal help the kids, Drake snuck out from the room. He walked around to the quiet place when he was sure no one was around.

As he looked up to the still dark sky, he called his dragon, "Hora!"

Hora was hiding again before Drake tore down the tower. As he appeared, his scales were glistening under the night sky.

Though Zone West was still coated with the thin purple haze of sleeping drugs, it only would work for humans, not a creature like him. Even if it did working, Hora could neutralize the air around him just like Drake.

"What do you think about her?" Drake asked, as his dragon mentioned before, one of the little girls inside was having traces of a dragon stench.

Hora twitched his nose, "I do smell a faint stench of dragon on her. It was so light, but it sure came from a dragon."

"Could it be that she is a chanter also?" As Drake understood, a dragon was a heaven creature bestowed on chanter, descendant of heaven sorcerers. Not every descendant, but only the one who was blessed as a chanter."

"You are the descendant of Adams, and there's the other one from your mission to bring back the descendant of Hercules. It means, there's more possibilities of three other chanters exist. There were a total of five sorcerers, the girl inside could be one of the chanters." Hora said looking at Drake, "Seems you are not the only one."

That's what Drake thought also, there might be different chanters that appeared before. In fact, Rohans said he was trying to call Drake's grandfather or his dad, but it wasn't successful. There's more than a decade of delayed time.

This question could only be answered if the girl woke up. "Make yourself invincible and follow me to the house."

When he entered the house, Lara was sitting with the other girl named Kira, bandaging her wrist, and Faryal, still touched the other girl's hand, transferring some mana to help her heal faster. "How's it going?"

Lara then spoke with her languid voice, "I never once met the kids who had a severe wound like this." She exhaled tiredly.

As Lara looked at the other girl, she said bluntly, "Her name is Athena. She is so malnourished with a lot of poison inside her body. Based from the trace of her blood, seemed like Savanna use it to torture the girl."

"How old is she?" Drake asked.

"Fifteen. I had transferred some of my mana to the girl to balance her life energy, but it won't work. Faryal in the middle of doing it also," said Lara.

As Drake got closer with the girl, Hora then noticed something, "Drake, I knew it!" He sniffed Athena from a distance, "I sense it. This girl had a trace of dragon's tears inside her body. It was a piece of it. Whoever was hiding it and covering the smell of the stone, was not a light User."

Dragon's tears. The stone he and Hora were seeking in the first place inside the west forest. It was like a key for the chanter to receive the heaven order. Heaven won't give any order if the stone was not presented to them.

When the time came after the chosen one completed the order, Dragon tears would have to go back to heaven. It was like a test from heaven if the chosen one were able to continue with the order or not. Right now, the one he found was inside the dragon dimension, being kept safe by Hora.

Drake said to Hora with his inner voice "I never knew the dragon's tears could be broken into some pieces and being kept inside one's person body."

Hora never learned about this before, "I don't know Drake, you have to ask the girl for that."

Drake then touched the back of Faryal as she in process transferred his mana to her. Not long after his hand touched her, Faryal felt an enormous energy swirling behind her.

Actually, she was scared she couldn't mediate Drake's energy. Her body might not be able to handle the powerful energy like that.

But Drake knew her limit. As his energy streamed to her, Faryal felt something burn on her shoulder. Without any difficulties, Drake's energy was easily flown to her and directly transferred to the girl.

As soon as the energy touched Athena, she was fidgeting on the bed, with cold sweat wetting through her body.

Drake's energy was surely strong, but the effect was amazing. In minutes, Athena's demeanor was looking better. Her skin color was turned into a normal shade.

Her friend Kira, was jumping from her seat to reach Athena, she was so thankful her friend looked much better and didn't die.

Coming from the same town and going through the same misery, Kira and Athena were building the connection more than most of the best friends could.

"She's better now, make sure both of them eat a lot of food." Drake said before going out.

Right now, Marven must be with the other Bismouth, changing the Sora Union Flag with the Samoa flag throughout the entire Zone West
