I stood before a small village by a green forest. The air had the scent of pine.

In front of me was a building called the adventurer training hall.

I walked toward the building with a small crowd outside of it.

The inside was quite large with several areas that were separated people learning the basics of weapons. The Npc were training diligently while the players were training quite lazily leaving soon after aquiring the skill for their combat.

I decided to follow the advice i was given to use the skills without the games help.

I started heading towards the receptionist at the end of the hall.

"How may i help you."

"I am here to learn the basics of magic."

"Of course we do have an instructor who can teach you magic. I must warn you his course is unpopular due to the difficulty. All of his students ran away."

"Im certain I want to learn from him."

Soon after Gram was taken to a court yard behind the training center.

The man standing there had a thin body adorned by black clothes he had pointed ears and a pair of black wings sprouted from his back.

"Ive brought someone for you to train."

"Thank you Ill take him from here"

Gram approaches the man

"You may call me Berkley from the looks of it you have no prior training in mana. Your in luck as I can bring out your mana and you will be casting spells in no time. To start learning how to use mana is tricky and is only viable if you have a talent for it."

"I have hopes that I will be talented enough to learn."

"First we should find out your talent for mana. If you have no talent you have no worth to me as a student. Your are the fourth person to ask to train under me. 2 of them had no talent and the other 2 ran away from the pain. To start you need to sit down and prepare yourself."

Gram sat down and prepared himself closing his eyes and calming his mind.

Berkley set his hand on Grams back soon after Gram felt a cold shock.
