Chapter 14 : Chapter 14 Battle Amidst Chaos(1)

"He should be dead?!" Danzo stared intently at the spectacular explosion on the field. The force of the blast had been immense, enough to decimate anyone caught in its path. At that moment, the space next to Danzo distorted slightly, and Obito's figure suddenly appeared.

"You, are you trying to kill me as well?!" Obito's voice was cold, his eyes glaring daggers at Danzo. When the roots attacked, he had just exited the virtual world. Without Izanagi, the technique that allowed him to cheat death, he would have been seriously injured or even killed.

"With 'Izanagi,' I can't kill you," Danzo snorted coldly, showing no signs of weakness. "And I eliminated a very formidable opponent for you. You should thank me for that!"

Obito heard this and a hint of mockery appeared in his eyes. Just then, a voice made Danzo's complexion change.

"Hiding for so long, I thought you would make some powerful moves, but I didn't expect it to be just this! It's truly disappointing!"

Danzo stared at the center of the explosion where the fire gradually dimmed, replaced by a dazzling golden light. The scene fell into sudden silence.

A slow, crisp footstep echoed, and the golden light became more radiant. The footsteps ceased, and a figure stood vaguely in the smoke. Suddenly, a gust of wind blew, dispersing the smoke. Kaito stood unharmed amidst the rubble, covered with a layer of dazzling golden ribs.

"This is... Susanoo!" Danzo exclaimed. As a disciple of the Second Hokage and witness to the end of the Warring States Period, he understood the significance of Susanoo—the ultimate power of the Uchiha clan. Madara Uchiha had used it to shock the ninja world, its destructive power capable of shattering the sky and the earth, revered as the "Ghost of Uchiha."

Obito was solemn. He knew more than Danzo. Though the Mangekyo Sharingan granted incredible powers, it required time to adapt and explore. Obito thought to himself, "It seems this guy is hiding quite deeply. Perhaps he awakened the Mangekyo much earlier than Itachi. At that time, he managed to deceive me; this guy's schemes are not simple."

"Since you've all taken action, remaining indifferent would be unjustified on my part!" Kaito calmly looked at Danzo and the group of roots behind him. Seeing this, Obito silently used his power to distance himself from Danzo. Now that someone had come to help attract Kaito's attention, he naturally needed to make a swift exit.

Kaito glanced at Obito but did not step forward to stop him. After all, the time for Obito's 'Izanagi' had not yet passed, and it would be a waste of chakra to continue fighting with him.

In front of this enormous Susanoo, Danzo and his group appeared as weak as ants. Even the emotionless Root members couldn't help but swallow nervously.
