Chapter 7 Only One Shall Survive

Fan wiped the blood off his lips, stood up, and rushed towards the sabre tooth tiger that was dazed from knocking its head against the tree. Fang didn't give it a chance to clear its head as he slid underneath its massive body and pulled out one of the knives that were stuck to its neck.

Instantly after sliding underneath the sabre tooth tiger Fang, held the knife firmly in his hand, swung his arm twice and two blood Streaks sprayed into the air. The sabre-tooth tiger that had not yet recovered from its dazed state felt a sharp pain in its hind legs and collapsed to the ground as it could not support its large mass.

Fang stared at the large beast in front of him with his knife dripping drops of blood opened his mouth and said," what are you feeling right now? is it anger, regret, or is it perhaps despair?" Fang chuckled coldly revealing a cold and sinister grin putting his fangs on full display as he followed up, "you brought this upon yourself, or did you perhaps think you could get a free lunch, but sorry burst your bubble cause such things don't exist!" Fang skillfully slashed at the air causing the blood that covered the knife to splatter on the ground creating a bloody arc on the original green grass.

The sabre-tooth tiger saw Fang's cold grin and instinctively tried to attack him with its front claws, but its desperate attacks were all easily dodged by Fang not because he got faster instead it was the sabre tooth tiger that got slower. The sabre-tooth tiger had its legs crippled, and something was slowly invading its body corroding it from the inside. The tiger knew very well that this was the end for it, and even if it somehow managed to escape it would still be killed by the other beasts, so it decided to take a final stand against this creature in Infront of it to at least take him down with it.

After sorting out its thoughts the sabre tooth tiger burned its soul energy, which drastically increased its power at the cost of its life. The duration was only temporary so all Fang had to do was either kill it or stall for time.

Fang noticed the changes that were occurring to the sabre tooth tiger's body, but instead of running away, he dashed towards it with eyes filled with killing intent. Fang didn't want to give the best time to power up, so he dashed towards it at his top speed, dodged every single one of the sabre tooth tiger's attacks that were becoming more and more powerful as he closed the distance between them until it gradually disappeared in a matter of seconds. The sabre-tooth tiger panicked and tried to attack Fang figuring that it couldn't possibly miss at such a close distance, but its massive paw was simply too slow and sluggish making it too easy for Fang to dodge it while sprinting towards its chest.

Fang switched his knife from a slash to a stabbing grip in a fraction of a second like a veteran and stabbed his knife into the sabre tooth tiger's armpit as he circled the beast with the knife still edged deeply in its body tearing the sabre tooth tiger's skin every time he moved his arm forward. The knife was extremely sharp and durable making it possible for Fang and his meagre strength to cut through the sabre tooth tiger's skin like tofu.

"ROOOOAAARRRR!!!!"

"SHUT UP AND DIE!!"

The sabre-tooth tiger released a pained roar as it felt that it was at the of its life, but it never thought that Fang would also release his roar towards it, which made it almost want to cry. The poison inside the sabre tooth tiger's body was intensified with every slash and stab it received causing its body to grow weaker and weaker as the seconds passed leaving it with a mountain of regret.

Fang's ears were ringing because of the ear-piercing dying roar of the sabre tooth tiger that caused him to unconsciously curse, and stab it at the back of its neck multiple while dodging its occasional retaliation strikes that were getting less and less frequent as time passed making Fang incredibly happy as his grin stretched even wider.

"pitiful beast why don't you just die and let me make a lovely fur coat from your hide!"

Fang stabbed the sabre tooth tiger a few more times making its body full of holes before the sabre tooth tiger eventually released its final breath.

Fang kept stabbing the beast even after it had long since stopped moving in fear that it might be playing dead cause if he let down his guard, and the beast surprise attacked him he would have no one to complain to. The large sabre tooth tiger that was beaming with vitality an hour ago now laid still in a pool of its blood. Fang stopped stabbing the sabre tooth tiger's corpse after confirming that it was indeed dead, and swung his arm in the air splattering the blood that covered the knife on the ground once more as he simultaneously wiped the beast's blood from his face. Fang's cold eyes stared at the corpse without a shred of emotion towards the sabre tooth tiger.

"You tried to kill me, so I killed you first. Nothing personal."

Fang's voice was cold and deep as he proceeded to kick the sabre tooth tiger's lost mouth, and pulled out his other weapons from its body then splattered the blood that covered them on the ground, but as he was about to scavenge the sabre tooth tiger's body for some more materials to create new weapons a strong gust of wind blew Fang away causing him to crash against a tree knocking the back of his head on the thick tree trunk knocking him out instantly.

Two minutes later Fang regain consciousness and instinctively grabbed his knives gripping them tightly in his hands as he simultaneously rose to his feet. Fang stood on his spot with his knives in front of his chest signalling that he was ready for battle with whatever creature that dared to bare its fangs at him no matter how big or small, yet when he surveyed his surroundings there was no vicious beast insight, but the stranger thing was that the sabre tooth tiger's corpse was gone. All that was left was a pool of blood and a trail of drops of blood that Fang had no interest in following.

Fang left the pool of blood and ran towards the direction he was headed to before being ambushed. Fang ran at his top speed which wasn't that fast as he searched for the river or stream to wash his clothes that had been dyed red by the sabre tooth tiger's blood. Fang also wanted to take a bath to freshen up since he hasn't taken a bath since he got to this place, and was giving off a horrible smell.

"I need to take a bath and rid myself of this terrible smell or else the ladies won't want to be anywhere near me, and how could a great man such as myself ignore such a serious problem that's gotten so bad to the point that even Xiao Ling would keep her distance from me if she was here." Fang kept talking to himself for a while until a faint sound of flowing water entered his ears.

"I knew it would be around here somewhere!" when he heard the sound of flowing water he ran towards it at the same speed as that he's been running at since the beginning. The sound got louder the further he ran, which assured him that he was headed in the right direction because he hated getting lost since it was too troublesome for him.

After a few minutes of running, Fang was almost out of gas from running all the way here after having an intense battle. The distance between the river and the place where Fang fought the sabre tooth tiger was about 4-5km away if combined with the distance he walked from the dark cave he had travelled a long way and was only a few meters away from the river since he could see the river in his line of sight.

Fang ran the distance that was remaining, yet he didn't just jump into the water when he finally arrived instead he stood by the river bed and slowly unzipped his bloody jacket revealing his smooth and tender skin that put many women to shame then tossed it aside before lowering his hands and lightly grabbed the sides of his pants that were also covered in blood.

Feng stared into the crystal clear flowing river water as he proceeded to gently lower his pants, removed one leg at a time then threw them towards the place where the jacket landed. Fang stood on the river bed with only his underwear remaining, which he also removed shortly after exposing his bare body to the world. Fang's skin was a bit milky white like that of a women's. If it weren't for his faint muscles and voice people would mistake him for a girl.

Fang lightly dipped his right foot into the water to feel its temperature, and after confirming that the water was still warm from being heated up by the sun he directed cannonballed into the water soaking his body completely wet. If someone passed by him at this moment they would think it was a girl that was taking a bath.
