Death and two wishes

it was a normal day for drake as was any other. Woke up at 6:00 am sharply. Morning training 30 Minutes later. Train till 12:00 pm. Then it was on to his daily duties. He was employed as a combat medic in the navy. So his duties involved make suring the medical supplies were in order. None missing, all in date, clean and kept in condition. Then it was his time. He like his brother was an otaku. So his brother would send manga and novels to help him pass the time.

It was about 6:00 pm when he finished reading the book he picked up. The Rising of the Shield Hero. He had to say it was one the better light novels he had read in recent years. As he was thinking though the sound of planes were heard over head. Normally this would not be unusual as military officials often come by planes. But what was unusual as far as drake knew was that there was suppose to be no one coming today.

So he went outside to check and what he saw horrified him. The planes he saw were no transport planes no they were were bombers and one of them just dropped a bomb and it heading straight for him and there was no way for him to get out of the blast radius. So he steeled his nerves and got ready for the pain that will follow.

It hurt it felt like his body was being evaporated it from both the inside and outside. But only for a second then nothing. He opened his eyes and saw he was in a white room in front of him a beautiful women. Her hair was as white as snow. Her body was was busty but not unrealistic. Her Navy blue that could peer in to your soul. Drake was mesmerised by her.

???: "Hahaha" She started laughing. "Sorry the look on your face reminded me of some I once knew. Anyway Drake let get down to business. Welcome To the afterlife. You like many others are given a choice be judged for your sins and go to heaven or hell or be reborn/transimtigated to a world of your choosing based on your karma. Have any questions."

Drake: "Yes actually how do I go about spending the rest of eternity with you?" Drake said he didn't know why but he felt his soul calling out for her.

???: "It is very simple take the second option and ascend to god and talk my father into accepting our marriage." As she said this a small almost unnoticeable smile crept up onto her face that said 'This is what I was hoping you would say.'

Drake: "Very well Then I chose the second option how many wishes do I get."

???: "Two."

Drake: "Then I wish to be reborn as Naofumi Iwatani's twin brother. for my second wish is for you to become the spirit of the Bow and to chose me to summon."

A large smile came upon her face the made her more mesmerising.

???: " Alright those wishes are acceptable my name is lily by the way. and just to let you know i cant wait to hear your voice again in the future darling."

And just like that the white room and lily's voice faded and the next thing he heard was crying. Then he felt a slap on his but and started crying as well. He figured they were checking to make sure he wasn't a stillbirth. It wasn't until a couple days later that he tooken home along with his new brother. There childhood was pretty normal and the two brothers were pretty close. Almost inseparable until high school where they each found their own hobbies both like gaming and manga. But Drake also took a interest in archery. Which his brother did not seem to have but still the two were still close.

Finally the day the of the summoning took place. Drake was at the dojo he been going to for the last few years to practise archery and martial arts. when suddenly his mind started going blank then the next thing he knew he was in a massive chamber next to three others. One of whom was his brother.

Lily: "Glad to see you again Darling. You don't know how long I have waited it for you. I had to integrate myself into the creation of the weapon so I have been wait for a millenia." Drake was happy to hear Lily's voice again. But knew he had to calm her down quickly.

Drake: ' It's okay I am sorry you had to wait so long but we are together again so calm down.' While he calming Lily down a group of robed individuals were explaining why they were summoned. And the King asked them to introduce themselves.

Motoyasu: "I'm Motoyasu Kitamura. I'm 21 and in university."

Itsuki: " My name is Isuki Kawasumi and I am 17 years old. I am also a High School Student."

Drake: "Names Drake 20 years old university student."

King: " Yes Drake, Isuki and Motoyasu ..."

Naofumi: " Hey What about Me?!"

King: "Huh? Ah... The Shield Hero... What's Your name?"

Naofumi: Naofumi Iwatani. I'm 20 Years old and a university Student ..."

Everyone was then asked to check their status.

While Drake was checking his status the other three heros were talking about how the world was like a game. Then Motoyasu started talking bad about Naofumi.

Drake: "Motoyasu was it? HOw about you stop picking on people and focus if what they're saying is true and were all not under some weird drug then people lives are in danger."

That shut Motoyasu up. Then the king called in a group of people who would embark on a journey with us to help us grow stronger. ADn talked about how our weapon become weaker if we are together.

Ren Got 5 people a mix of male a females. I got 3 People 2 females one male. Motoyasu got 4 A female. Naofumi got a whopping 0.

When no one else volunteered the red from Motoyasu group volunteered to join. Drake knew what this would lead to but he had to let it happen. For Naofumi to meet Raphtalia.
