6: Flying Weapons

After spending time with them, Alicia discovered that, they are all members of the Hunter guild. Adventurers signed with the Hunter guild and given their personal adventurer card which shows their names, fighter class and personal information.

"If you are planning to get this, it's very easy, just go to any city, look for the Hunter guild building. It won't be difficult to find it, just asked anyone in the city." John stopped, showing Alicia his green adventurer card and continued:

"Because, no one have been able to break through to the hero class for decades now, only hero class have the right to owned a golden card. But will a hero class ability user be an adventurer?" John asked.

"I don't know" Alicia answered honestly.

"No dear, because in all of hantians, we only have four hero class, and they are the rulers of each race. Can those behemoth choose to become a simple adventurer. No, because even the leaders of the guild are in the grandmaster or elite class at most." John said with a smile and added.

"One day I wish to be like the rulers"

"In your dream" Tyson said with a laugh.

"Why are you laughing, can't a young man have a dream?" John said with a frown.

"A young man that don't know the immensity of heaven and earth, hahaha...." Tyson laughed out loud. A deep frown appeared on John face. Before he pounce on Tyson, giya said. "Ok Tyson. let him be, he is right, a man have to dream, but some dreams can only remain a dream."

"You guys will see, I will show you all." John said with determination and added. "But now I need money, nothing else. Right sunny?"

Sunny was just staring at them as if watching a show, his expression didn't even change an inch. John frowned but didn't say anything, only this team knew how terrifying sunny strength is. This guy can even rival a low awakened class fighter, he can even kill them, if there are not careful. Just because of his advantage in speed. The biggest advantage for a assassin class ability user.

He took a deep breathe to pass the awkward moment and turned to Alicia "Oh were are we? Yes. You remembered that awakened class monster that chased you out of the dead forest right?"

Alicia nodded and John continue. "A hero class can kill it with just their Aura, without lifting his finger, that's how powerful a hero class is." Alicia face changed slightly, and asked. "Really?"

"Yeah, but there is a rumor around us adventurers that their are beasts and monsters out there that can kill even a hero-class ability user." The other two nodded, but sunny remained calm, shaping his sword, assassin are proficient with daggers, but this assassin is proficient with long swords, which confused his team more.

After about 30 minutes of resting Alicia stood up and said "Ok I will be going now, I need to get my adventurer card."

"Do you need me to follow you, like show you around?" John stood up instantly and asked.

"No thanks" Alicia refused calmly and added, "And they need you here"

John rubbed the back of his head and said with a small smile "Actually... we are not a permanent team, we banded together temporally to hunt monsters, that's all"

"Oh" that was all Alicia could say.

"So we might see again in the coming future" Giya said and Tyson walked up to her, giving her a scroll. "This is the map of the whole hantians, so you can't get lost. Someone told us you are new around here, so you will need this" Tyson said giving John a provocative look. John face turned red with anger, but he remained silent.

"Thank you so much, I will not forget this, but don't you guys need this map?" Alicia asked looking at Tyson. Tyson smiled and said. "This is our homeland, and we are also adventurers, so we are familiar with the place. We also have a map, so don't worry."

Alicia looked at them, not knowing how to thank them, then she crouch down, and open her back bringing out one trial-one core, making sure the others remained hidden. When the four adventurers saw the core they were all stunned even sunny frowned slightly.

You should know a Non-Magical human or an ability user with low affinity would find in difficult to kill a low trial spirit beast, but now Alicia just brought out one, which surprised them greatly. After getting himself, John said:

"No, we can't accept this, you need it more"

"No need, I have one more with me, you guys can sell this one, take it as my thanks, for the food and map I mean" Alicia said with a smile handing the core to Tyson. She had a reason for saying two, even if she have spent sometime with these guys, she haven't trust them yet, what if she show them all her core and even the trial-Two spirit core. Humans heart are unpredictable. They might change there mind and attack her. With her current strength that would be a disaster.

The four looked at each other after a while, Tyson nodded and said "Thank you Alicia, we will also not forget this encounter."

"It's nothing, I will be going now."

"Do you need a ride?" John asked quickly.

Alicia smiled and said. "Am fine, I want to explore this world." The adventurers didn't think about it but sunny frowned a little hearing Alicia word.

"Save journey" giya said. Alicia nodded, looked at the map and continue her journey.

After a while the four looked at each other, and giya brought out three low trial spirit cores and said. "We have a total of 4 cores now, each of us will have one. If you want to absorb it or sell it, it's on you." The others nodded and took there cores remaining one in the bag.

"Am going, we will see again. If you want to form the team, you know how to reach me." With that said Tyson walked away with his core. Giya looked at the two stood up and said. "We will see again you two" with that she also walked away.

A trial-one core could catch them a price of 100 silver coins, which can feed them for a week or two if used wisely.

"Wee, weep!!"

John whistled and a brown looking horse gallop towards him and stopped in Front. John rubbed the animal head and hop on, then turned to sunny. "Hey sunny, am gone. We will see later." Sunny nodded slowly and with that john raced away.

With that the team was disbanded.

Sunny looked at them with a rare smile and stood up, picked the core and absorbed it at once, making the once blue core to loss it shine and turned to dust instantly. Sunny clutched his fist tightly "I must get stronger to be able to complete my mission." He said placing his long sword on the ground, standing on it. The next moment he started ascending to the air.

If his teammates knew he's sword is a flying weapon they will be so shock, because the cheapest price of these weapons is 100 Gold coins, but sunny a high-common class Assassin owned one. Abilities users won't be able to fly unless they broke through to the grandmaster class, below that, they could only fly with these flying weapons, that is another question if you have a flying beast. But these weapons are so expensive for low class ability users like them, even John brown horse cost 1 Gold coin to talk of flying weapons.

The more advance the weapons or animals the more expensive It is, for example flying sword cost 100 Gold coins, while a magical flying sword lowest price is 5,000 gold coins. A plain looking horse cost 1 Gold coin while a fully armored horse cost 5,000 gold coins. So everything in hantians is ruled by money.

After walking for 5 hours, Alicia finally arrived at the closest city gate.

"Phew"

She breath a sigh of relief walking towards the gate.

"STOP RIGHT THERE!!"

A voice sounded stopping her on track, she looked at the two guards walking towards her and can't help to laugh inside.
