Till in the unknown forest.

Alicia woke up from the tree, stood up and looked around her. 'I thought everything was a dream, well time to continue my journey.'

She jumped down looking around. Even if it's already daytime the forest was till DARK because of the tree canopies blocking the sun light. Seeing there's no dangers around she continued her journey east.

"Growl..."

"This is not the time belly, we are in an unknown world known as hantians, which is filled with spiritual beasts and abilities users. They are even four race in the whole of hantians. First the human race, which are the strongest and most populated. Second the beast race. Who are half human and half animal. The third is the mixed race which consists of all the race, ruled by the elves. So in this race the elves have more power. The last are the most mysterious race of all, the sea folk race." Alicia said looking around and continuing talking.

"Some people thought the sea folk are myth, but I believe there are out there somewhere in the sea. And out of this four race, they have the four strongest guilds. First strongest, the Hunter guild controlled by the humans, the second, Red iron guild which is controlled by the beast race, third the skull guild which is controlled by the mixed race and lastly the blue river guild, which is controlled by the sea race. Rumors have it that, if you become a member of the blue river guild, you will be given a teleportation stone, which you can use to visit the sea race. But it's not that easy to join the blue river guild."

"The guilds were built with the sole purpose of keeping the abilities users and monsters at bar. Another rumors also said that the heads of all these guilds are at the least the Elite-class."

"The previous owner of this body really like knowledge, I will just say thanks to her, because everything I need in this life is already in my head. I just need to look." Alicia said with a smile walking quickly. "I need to get out of here quickly, am not planning of spending another night in this unknown forest."

"I wonder... even this forest is not in my memories, the only thing I got is her friend who was a blonde who mentioned something about a dead forest, closed to the village." Alicia said looking at the forest.

'Or... am I in the dead forest.'

'This might be the dead forest, maybe the previous owner had never been here, that's why I don't know anything about this forest.' Alicia thought and stopped on her track looking around.

"What's this feeling, why is the forest so silent, I can't even heard the chirping of birds or even insects." Alicia said looking around. "Why is this feeling so dreadful? Like danger." She said increasing her pace.

SHRIEK.....!!!!

As if to make her more worried a creepy and terrifying shriek sounded in the distance causing Alicia to turned around sharply. To her horror she saw the soil moving towards her at a terrifying speed.

"What the fuck!! I thought this monster headed west, why here?!" Alicia exclaimed, without wasting a second chance she Dashed forward, not caring about anything else, only to escape this creature. The monster didn't back down and increased it speed.

Two tentacles shot out from The ground heading toward Alicia with deadly accuracy. Alicia face changed dramatically and she swiftly dodged to the right escaping the tentacles by a inch. Without stopping she increased her speed.

'This monster is a higher trial, I won't survive a second if we fought, so I need to get out of here.'

After running for a while she saw the exist of the forest, it was like someone have given her a thread of life and she grabbed this thread running out with full force. Ten tentacles shot out from The ground heading straight at her. Seeing this she gave up the Idea to run and jumped out of the forest.

The ten tentacles moved and smashed into an invisible barrier, electrifying it back.

SHRIEK...!!!

The monster let out a painful shriek and all the tentacles redraw into the ground. The soil then change it direction moving inside.

Alicia took a sigh of relief breathing heavily, looking at the the blue glow barrier covering the forest in a stunned daze.

"Whoa, I can't believe some people till enter the dead forest." Alicia turned around following the voice seeing a brown hair young man, in light leather armor and a long sword by the right Side of his waist.

[John, mid-common class warrior]

"Dead forest?" Alicia asked stunned looking at the young man then at the forest.

"Yes, it seem you are new here, you might have came from the mixed race. No problem, I will just say you are lucky, because that beast is not just your simple spirit beast, but a awaken beast, you are really lucky." The young man said with a smile reaching out his right hand. "Am John, an adventurer"

Alicia stood up and shook his hand, "Alicia. Thank you." Alicia said looking at the young man, feeling a powerful aura around him, but in Front of the young man who killed and destroyed the whole village, he was like a baby.

"Oh, no need, we are not the one who saved you, the leader of the Hunter guild set this barrier to protect all the humans from those beast. We are just adventurers who hunt low trial spirit beast to make a living."

"We...?" Alicia looked at him a little confused.

"Oh, let Me take you to our camp." John said leading the way and Alicia followed closely.

After walking for a while they got to the small camp. The bonfire was already out, at the moment they was a total of three people chatting, well two at least. Plus John, making four. 'So this was the bonfire I saw yesterday, they camp here all night while I fought monsters inside, wow, how ironic.' Alicia thought.

"Hey guys, let me introduce you, this is Alicia, she came out of the dead forest and also new around here!" John said loudly, drawing the other three members attention. Alicia looked at them and greeted. "Hi am Alicia."

"I'm Giya"

"Tyson"

The two introduced themselves. But the last guy just kept quiet, not even looking at her. Alicia was confused. 'did I do something wrong?' Seeing her confused look, John whispered to her. "That's sunny, high-common class Assassin, he is always like that, sometimes we would think his mentally unstable, but always stay clear of him, he might be calm and cold to everyone, but when you become his enemy, you won't even know how you die, well unless you are stronger than him."

Alicia nodded hearing John words, and true to his words, she can felt even more stronger aura from this Guy. And also a assassin class. Which made him more deadly. 'This team is good, two warrior-class, one Assassin-class and lastly a healer.'

Giya looked at Alicia and said. "No class"

"Excuse me?" Alicia said confused looking at giya.

"You are not a ability user, just a normal human" she said calmly and added "I can't feel any energy in you."

Alicia nodded, as far as she knew from her memories that a ability user can absorb cores to get stronger, so she tried it in the dead forest, but can't absorb it, the cores was useless to her, unless she sell it to make money. 'This guys are hunting for cores to make a living, so they won't be able to buy mine, I have to go and sell it in the guild.'

"Wait, you are a non-ability user, then how did you survived the dead forest, to even outrun a awaken beast?" John asked confused. He really didn't focus on that, now that he look, he couldn't feel anything from her.

"Awaken beast?" Tyson asked a little stunned. "Yes, she outrun it, I saw it with my own eyes" John answered slowly.

"Maybe, she is a ability user, with low affinity." Giya said with a thoughtful look. The others nodded hearing her words. Alicia only had one thought in her head which is. 'i don't have a core, so I can't be a normal ability user. Because the previous owner of this body destroyed the core.'

"Ok, ok, enough, let eat, I know you will be hungry. Because there is nothing in the dead forest that is eatable." Tyson said handing Alicia a bowl of white rice.

"Thanks" Alicia said, sat down and started devouring the food as if it would disappeared in the next moment.

"Slow down girl, or you will choke on it" giya said with a giggle. Alicia nodded and ate slowly.
