30: Heading Back To Soligon City

"What did you say?" Cassie asked again to confirm Alicia word.

"I want to join the competition." Alicia repeated her word as she stared at her friend.

"Didn't you just said you need to be in the awakened class and also joined a guild, how are you going to do that?" She asked.

Alicia opened her palm and a green adventurer card appeared in it. "I'm already a adventurer."

"You joined the Hunter Guild? But they are all looking for you right now?" Cassie asked shocked.

"Well... first no one know I'm the abyssal king, everyone is expecting a guy which give me another advantage." Alicia said twirling the card between her fingers.

"But, you are not a awakened class ability users." Cassie said again.

"Who told you that?, and who is the one who killed one eye?" Alicia asked with a smile.

"You are really full of surprises." Cassie said with a smile and added. "Am not following you inside the predators dimension, you know that right?"

"I know, and you will have a special task to do for me." Alicia said with a mischievous smile.

"Special task? And what is that?" Cassie asked.

"Not yet, first I need to change your trait." Alicia said and stopped spinning the card.

"Change my trait? Is that even possible?" Cassie was getting more confuse.

"Am not changing your trait, an just making you a duel trait, that is you can till heal someone. Think about it, A healer and a assassin." Alicia said.

"How can you do that?" Cassie asked, getting excited.

"Don't worry, when the time is right I will let you know." Alicia said standing up. "For now we need to head back to the guild."

Cassie nodded and asked with a frown. "What is burning?"

"Oh, I set the bodies on fire, and it would soon got the whole building so come on, let go." Alicia said calmly.

Cassie nodded and Alicia activated her skill. The two walked through the portal leaving the room empty.

The two came out of the portal, the first thing they did was to take in their surroundings. "It looked like me appeared inside a forest." Cassie said calmly.

"Yeah." Alicia Nodded.

"Graaaaa!!!!!!!!"

"Come on!" Alicia growled and turned around.

"That is a Trial-four red kraken!!" Cassie yelled out.

"Weak" Alicia raised her right hand, the next moment the kraken collapsed on the ground with countless dark chains binding him down.

"GRAAAA!!!!!" The kraken roared in anger.

The chains bind it down as it sapped all it strength, passing it to Alicia, while she directed everything to cassie.

Cassie felt her body getting filled with energy that she was speechless. After A moment the energy disappeared and the trial-four kraken fell down dead.

"You just killed a trial-four spirit beast with out even drawing your sword, and i felt somehow, like more powerful" Cassie muttered.

"It's too weak for me to draw my sword, and the feeling is the kraken power, I passed it to you." Alicia said walking toward the kraken.

"You might be weaker than my wolf, but you are till something." After saying that she looked around making sure no one was present, before commanding.

"RISE!"

The Same smoke rose from the dead kraken and formed a black kraken in Front of her, seeing his queen, the shadow kraken bowed his head.

"Good boy" Alicia said and with a wave of her hand the kraken dispersed.

"Is that how you summon them?" Cassie asked walking toward Alicia.

"Yeah." Alicia Nodded and crouch down, with a flick of her wrist her sword appeared in her hand. She slowly cut opened the kraken and removed it core.

"Take this" she passed it to cassie.

"What am I going to do with it?"

"What the fuck cassie, you have to absorb it." Alicia said a little surprise by her question.

"What about you?" Cassie asked again.

"Don't worry about me." Alicia said cleaning the blood off her hands and sword with her mana. "Oh and also these" she brought out one eye's core and gave it to cassie.

Cassie stared at the two cores in her hand, after some thought she said. "I think it's better if we sell it, I'm starving"

"absorb it girl, I took two bags of coins from one eye, it will last us for a long time." Alicia said with a smile.

Having no more excuse, she absorbed the two cores, the next moment a wave of mana burst out from her blowing all the leaves on nearby trees and dead leaves away. She looked at herself in surprise.

"Congratulation sister for entering the mid-common class." Alicia said with a smile giving cassie a hug.

"Ok, ok, get ready, we are going back to soligon city." Alicia said cutting her off.
