29: Predators Dimension

Alicia walked toward the room and leaned on the door. "I heard something about a predator dimension just now."

The two girls turned to her and cassie eyes lit up. "Yes, Matilda my friend here is an expert about places."

"I am?" Alicia asked in mild surprise.

"Of course you are, you like reading all those books about mysterious places, you might know something about the predator dimension." Cassie said, and quickly walked up to Alicia and pulled her towards the bed.

"Now sit here and tell us everything you know." Cassie said making Alicia sit on the bed close to Matilda.

Alicia sighed and closed her eyes to look inside her memories, after a while she opened her eyes and observed Matilda and cassie. "Why do you want to know about the predator dimension?" She asked.

"Well, our friend here is looking for a power artifact, the one she told you in the basement."

Alice nodded and cassie continue:

"She said all the clues lead to the predators dimension, and she want to know more about the place before starting her journey."

"Sorry dear but that your place will be futile." Alicia said to Matilda.

"And why is that?" She asked confused.

"Because the predators dimension is not a place you can journey to, it's a dimension which you can only enter with the help of the gate."

"The gate?" Both Matilda and cassie looked at Alicia in confusion and shock.

"As the name suggests, dimension. A dimension always need a gate to enter, what I know about the dimensional gate is, every 50 years it opened in random places around hantians, only awakened class ability users could pass through the gate, if you are above that you can't pass through. Legends said that there are countless treasures, like rare herbs use for making potions and mana potions, and countless artifact from D to A-Class, they are also weapons, magic spells and more, different treasures are in there." Alicia paused and continue:

"But, where ever there is treasures, there are also monsters. Legends also said the most precious treasures are guarded by trial-one and two omega beasts. Don't think that's all, there are also the main habitant who we called predators. These are not like any spiritual beast, but have the figure of a human standing 8 foot tall, they have different class from land, water to air habitant. All called predators."

"How did you know so much?" Matilda asked.

"My friend is a book nerd." Cassie answered with a giggle. While Alicia just rolled her eyes.

"What about their power gap?" Matilda asked an important question.

"The gate only allow awakened class ability users, so the strongest predators would be a trial-ten awakened beast. Two awakened ability users won't be able to take down a trial-ten awakened beast so it's always advisable to move in group of four above."

"How do you know that?" Cassie asked.

"Because every time the gate opened, the four guilds sent a total of 20 awakened ability users each, it would be difficult to get In if you aren't a awakened ability users, because if you are lower or higher than a awakened ability users you won't be able to pass through." Alicia said staring at Matilda.

Cassie also noticed the problem and looked at her friend worriedly. "Matilda, what will you do now? You are only a high-common class. Not yet a awakened class."

Matilda was silent for a moment and turned to Alicia. "When will the gate be opened?"

"Two weeks from now." Alicia answered after some thought.

Matilda nodded calmly and stood up, "then I need to get stronger before then." She said with determination.

Alicia was silent for a while, then wave her hand and the wolf core appeared on her palm, this core was a lot weaker than one eye's.

The two girls were shocked seeing the core and staring at Alicia with unreadable dazes.

"Don't look at me like that, take it" she said to Matilda.

"Don't you need it, everyone dream is to get stronger then why are you giving me this?" She asked.

"Am not giving you, I just feel like I might need your help in the future, so you own me one." Alicia said calmly.

The two girls stared at Alicia for a while before cassie nodded and placed her hand on Matilda shoulder.

"She is right, you need it and we might see in the future, so take it" cassie said calmly.

After A while Matilda nodded and took the awaken core from Alicia hand and absorbed it all, making it turned to white particles. She clutched her hands and nodded.

"Thank you, as you said, if you need anything just let me know." Matilda said sincerely.

"Oh I forgot one important information." Alicia muttered and the two girls faced her.

"You need to join a guild for you to be able to pass through smoothly. I heard the guilds always held competitions to decide who is strong enough to head inside the gate and retrieved some valuable things for them." Alicia said calmly.

"Join a guild? I haven't thought of it" Matilda said and added. "Then I have to head back to the beast continent to join a guild. I know if I killed two spirit beast and absorb their cores I will enter the awakened class. It's all thanks to you." Matilda said calmly.

"It's nothing" cassie nodded.

"Well I have to start my journey to the beast continent." She said preparing to head out, luckily Cassie had already healed all her injuries both internal and external.

"Wait, my sister can help." Cassie said turning to Alicia.

Alicia shook her head and with a wave of her hand a portal appeared in the room. "Follow that I will take you to the beast continent, It will drop you in a forest and you just have to find your way." She said.

"Thanks again, I won't forget this. And don't worry about your secret, it's safe with me." She said, after giving cassie a hug she walked inside the portal and Alicia closed it.

'My queen, what if you add the predators in your army?' Blacknight communicate with her telepathically.

'I didn't think of that.'

'And my queen, there are also many treasures in there that will help us in the future.' Blacknight added.

Alicia Nodded and after thinking about it she Turned to cassie. "I want to participate in the guild competition."

"What?" Cassie turned around to face her, surprise written all over her face.
