The next morning, Ana woke up to see a lantern on her bedside table. 

For a moment, she had thought it was another hidden message from RACQI.

But then, she saw a note attached to the lantern:

"Make a wish and release." 

Ana chuckled. It was clear who the letter was from. Then, at the bottom of the page, Ana noticed more words.

"PS. You should probably wish to get over your fear of heights."

Ana rolled her eyes. She was an assassin, of course, she wasn't afraid of heights but it was better for Valerian would think that, instead of finding out her true feelings.
