Chapter 10: Sun Lei, Triple wave of Darkness Part 1

As Wu Hao launched his attack on the senior, the senior observed the qi that emitted from Wu Hao's sword and smiled. He swung his own sword, causing a black qi explosion that spread in a circle and released a massive dark energy wave that collided with Wu Hao's attack. Wu Hao tried to resist, but the senior's dark energy was too powerful. The first wave threw Wu Hao back to his group, causing him to lose almost all of his qi.

"Damn it," Yun Zi said in anger from the dual arena with her group when observing the fight. "That Sun Lei guy really used that skill against the newcomer, doesn't he? Too cowardly."

"That skill was his ultimate skill. He used it against me before at the tournament last year. It's called Triple Wave of Darkness." Zhang Wei said calmly, but his expression was a little ugly then before. He clearly doesn't like the action of that black robe man called Sun Lei. "When I was going against him last time, I was barely able to win against him. Most of his skills are unique but easy to counter, except his ultimate skill that he's using now. It's one that kept him on the top student list last year."

Triple of the darkness is the skill that caused an eruption of dark energy that sent shockwaves rippling through the earth when the owner struck his sword on the ground. The energy then burst forth from the ground in three waves, each stronger than the last. The first wave was powerful but manageable. The second wave was twice as strong as the first, and the third wave was equal to the first two combined.

Back to the fight, Wu Hao was forced back to his group. He noticed that just by the first move from this senior, it made him use up almost all of his energy just to block an attack from him.

"Damn it, this guy is really strong," Wu Hao said, his breathing heavy.

Before he could think of doing anything, a voice emitted from the senior.

"Is that all you've got, little junior?" the senior said with disdain. "If that's all you've got, then you can rest now from my next attack. Hahaha, this is what you get for getting in my way. If you want to blame someone, then blame yourself for being so foolish."

Wu Hao gritted his teeth, his eyes blazing with anger. Before he could do anything, the senior had already made his move. He lifted up his sword that was filled with dark energy and swung it towards Wu Hao. He then released another wave of dark energy, but this time it didn't go in a circle that would damage the surrounding. Instead, it went in the eclipse shape and directly went towards Wu Hao. This time, the dark energy in the wave seemed to be more intense and powerful than before, causing Wu Hao to feel like he was being crushed under its weight.
