Final Preparations
Time passed in a stressful manner for everyone on the planet, whether they were aware of the things happening in the shadows or not. The appearance of a Tamarain ship descending into their atmosphere was never a good sign.
Only one person on the planet was giddy, thinking of this as a chance: the queen.
Her heart raced with anticipation, eager to present her case to this Adjudicator, just as she had done with countless other representatives. Yet, this time, the power wielded by the Tamarain was unparalleled.
And, by her side, the vulture-looking Mens'ave, Akkes, was standing there, shivering in glee.
The commander was still nowhere to be seen at the moment, busy with some task or another, as they prepared to receive the Tamarain, and he was left alone with the queen.
It was his chance to make a move and secure his position at her side.
