The Voice of the People

"Tchh, how boring" I spat out as the last of them fell to the Angels attack.

The whole place was bathed with the blood of the fallen and torn limbs were spread everywhere making it look like a butchers den.

For some reasons, Angels fought and slaughtered aggressively like carnivores. One would expect them to give their opponents a peaceful death given their divine nature.

I shook my head in disappointment as I looked at the fallen leaders especially.

I had expected them to last longer and give me a worthwhile show but it seemed that luck wasn't on my side.

They had all been weak.

Surely, I didn't fare as badly as they had when I had been first attacked by Angels.

Or had I? I didn't trust my memory about my weak moments.

Still, I had put up a better attempt. One of the leaders who I initially thought as the strongest of them all met his death at his knees.
