Long Yao gasped in amazement as Flux Fire materialized before her eyes. "This is incredible, Chen'er! You have finally awakened your partner beast" Long Yao said as she gently touched the fiery red little chicken.

"Yes, Mother" Long Chen said avoiding his mother's gaze.

Having a chicken who claims to be the spirit of fire as a partner beast is a huge shame.

You say you can heal her" Long Xhen said.

Yes I can, but not now" Flux Fire said.

"A talking partner beast is really special... Wait you can heal me?" Long Yao asked with wide eyes. She had given up hopes of getting healed

"We will go to the mountains tomorrow to find the flame orchid" Long Chen said with a firm gaze.

With a newfound sense of purpose, Long Chen left his mother's side and began preparations for his journey to the Eastern Mountains, where he would face countless challenges to obtain the rare herb that held the key to saving his mother's life.

As he stood up and left his mother's room, Luo Li approached him.

"Please young master save Miss Yao, she treats me like her daughter and watching her suffer is like a torment to me" Luo Li said a tears falling freely from her eyes.

Her mistress has never treated her as a maid, rather she treats her like her daughter.

"I will do my best to make sure she is healed," Long Chen said as he went to his room.

As Long Chen got to his room, he meticulously packed his bag with supplies.

He filled it with clothes, the pills he bought and some few things he will need.

The next morning, as the first rays of dawn painted the sky, Long Chen and Flux Fire set out on their perilous journey. The Eastern Mountains loomed in the distance, their peaks shrouded in mist. He bought a few healing pills along the way in case of emergency.

As Long Chen journeyed to the mountain, he held his sword in his hands with his eyes surveying his surroundings.

The path ahead was fraught with danger, but Long Chen was prepared to face it all for the sake of his mother's health.

Long Chen and Flux Fire embarked on their journey to the Eastern Mountains at a slow and deliberate pace.

"Isn't it strange that we have been walking for hours and there is no sign of beast?" Long Chen said starting a conversation with Flux Fire who sat on his shoulder with its eyes closed searching for traces of herbs.

"It's a good thing we have not seen one, we should pick up the pace," Flux Fire said.

"We have been walking for long and there is no sight of the flame orchid, Are you sure we are heading the right way?" Long Chen asked.

"Wait, I sense something" Flux Fire suddenly said with his eyes open.

"What?" Long Chen asked.

"Go 30km right," Flux Fire said.

"There are only trees in that area, are you sure?" Long Cen asked.

"How dare you not have the senses of a beast of chaos, I am sure you will find a good thing there," Flux Fire said with pride.

"Okay," Long Chen answered as he headed towards the direction with speed. His improved cultivation level allowed him to cover the distance with ease. In less than 5 minutes Long Chen got there.

As he reached the location, he saw a thick fog which covered his sight. All he could see was white smoke.

"Pervert" A loud ear ear-piercing feminine voice was heard.

"Pervert?" Long Chen asked with a confused gaze.

The fog soon cleared and a beautiful young woman with long white hair was seen. Her wet hair cascaded down her shoulders and her blue eyes were filled with pure disgust and anger directed at Long Chen and her sexy body could be seen through the lingerie she wore.

She is half-dressed and the water makes the clothes stick to her body like glue highlighting her her beautiful figure.

Long Chen looked around and found out that the fog was an illusion. If he had taken a single step forward he would have fallen into a shallow lake.

"Pervert, how dare you spy on my pure body, you deserve to die a gruesome death," She said as she pointed her long blood red sword at Long Chen. She was bathing when she noticed the presence of someone and could only wear some of her dress.

*Shing* The sword was fired at Long Chen letting out a wave of harsh heat directed at him giving him no time to prepare.

"Asura" Long Chen called and the silver-hold sword flew out of his sheath stopping the incoming wave of attack.

"How dare you fight back" She said as her graceful figure flew out of the lake her body glistening in the ray of the sun. With a lightning-fast speed that is invisible to the naked eye, she retracts the sword and strikes again.

Long Chen was confused, "How did I become a pervert?" But he has no time to think.

"Flame eagle" She called and a massive eagle came out of nowhere standing above her.

"You handle her partner beast" Long Chen said to Flux Fire who immediately flew towards the eagle.

*Clash* The loud sound of metal clashing was heard as the battle raged on.

Her strength and speed gradually decline at a rapid pace. Clearly, She is stronger than him but it seems like she is doing her best to maintain her composure in the fight. "Is she injured?" Long Chen asked himself.

*Boom* The flame eagle spits out a wave of fire at Flux Fire which was meant to turn him into ashes.

"How dare you spit out such poor grade flames at me, let me show you how it is done," Flux Fire said as its body radiated multicoloured flames.

"Eternal Flames" Flux Fire called out with a loud voice as it fired at the eagle.
