An old sage's foolish ramblings

I had achieved just about everything possible since I started my journey in this new world

Became a hero, built a kingdom, married beauties, fought in countless wars than I can remember

But nothing could ever beat the joy I got from learning the unknown

You might have found pieces of my ramblings scattered all over the world, some useful, other even I would laugh at if I do come in contact with them at this point

But if any of my notes have ever put you in a dilemma in the past, I apologize, it's hard when you're the only party exploring the mysteries of the world

If you have read my classification system in the past, you'd notice some inconsistency when I talked about the lightning, light, darkness and void elements

That's because there was no way to study it in the past, but now I have succeeded in doing just that, I finally understand, and I leave this record in the hopes that you my successor would find this along with my inheritance

Do not bother trying to look for me, I might be dead by the time you find this, I might have ascended and continued my journey as the ever wandering stranger

But you didn't come here to read about my story, so let's get to it.

The world knows that all practitioners work based on the aether system and they're not wrong, however, apart from ether, they are other forms of energy, origins like I prefer to call them, each working in a specific path

If aether can be defined as an elemental based origin, then there are other origins which deals with other forces that do not fall under the elements

If it wasn't so, how have we as creatures been able to use arrays to perform acts that do not fall under the elemental range

A storage space, a warp gate, a seal, an illusion, plenty of things like this have been used in the past and will still be used in the future, so I set out to find the explanation for this

And till date, I have found what I believe to be different origins

The elemental based aether

The void based ether

The negative based nether

All this are conjectures on my part with little proof, so if someone comes up with a better explanation my successor, you should pay it attention

As you know, aether deals with the elements, fire, water, air, earth and it's derivatives, but when I reached the 8th stage of ascendancy, I came in contact with a new origin

I named it ether

It took me a long time to study it, but I found out, it was the driving force what a set of rules and principles I'd call the void

Void, Space, Time, Gravity, Fate and Psychics

However unlike the aether and its paths, I couldn't define this into different routes as it wasn't my displine of study

A friend from the temple of faith has indeed verified my theory as he revealed majority of the power they used worked on this origin and fell under this void rules

This explains why an array that does function different from that of the elements requires much much energy to be powered

It first converts the elemental aether to the void ether before running it.

So far, the only ways to access ether is to be chosen by the void, or to become a high level ascendant and grasp a void rule with your understanding

I did so on reaching the 8th stage of ascendancy and became able to manipulate space

However people who become seers, priest or diviners of their tribes have been subconsciously using ether (the fate aspect)

I suspect the beastkin of the past also used ether, atleast a subset (which I named void), to strengthen themselves and increase their bodily functions, as I have seen some members of the order of faith do in the past, but what a shame, there's none left to use as material for research

The last origin however is bad news, and the fact that you my successor is reading this message means you have already come into contact with it

This origin came from the other side, the sister world to Kreatia, Tartus.

Believed to be the home of primordial demons, the ones referred to as abominations in the chaotic era.

It is the only origin that flows in that world and only came into existence in Kreatia after the rift into this world was open

If you're here, you've found your way to Tartus, or are trapped in the rifts between the two worlds, either way is bad news

But putting that aside

I call this origin, nether.

The anti-sesis of both ether and aether

Darkness, Shadow, Blood, Curses, Corruption and Negation

So far that's all I can tell about it, it's an energy so perverse that I couldn't even accept it in my body fearing it's consequences

To clear up my mistake in my past note

Lightning, Darkness and light are of different origins and are not related

Lightning however, is a manifestation of aether, nether and ether all together in one form.

A lightning user has only appeared once and that was in the era before us (the chaotic era), perhaps the reason being the conditions for it's manifestation, I was only able to confirm it's existence and it's source by accident after I mixed all three origins together in an effort to leave this hell.

I have left the orb on the alter in the seal that separates this place from the main world

Successor I hope you'd be able to find your way out with that, and when you do, do not allow this information to spread

Do not allow a repeat of the last era, do not underestimate the lustof mankind
