Chapter 6

Back on the continent Harmal, Bori managed to kill the bishops and one archbishop and quickly hides himself. Reaching the port he quickly jumps into the water and rides the waves forward. 'Im not going fast enough. They might be in danger,' he thinks to himself.

Urging the water he starts to move faster. As he moves several beasts try to get in his way. He just ignores them and continues forward. A few hours after Maria started to stand against the church to let the rest escape, he arrives. Seeing Maria on the ground he pulls out his glaive and kills the remaining bishops.

Picking her up he rushes to the Mafrial clan. With her in hand. Killing any and all church members that get in his way, he frowns. 'No, no, no. Don't die. Just be asleep.'

With her in his arms he arrives at a city. Rushing to the city lord. A guard stops him, "What business do you have here?"

Laughing he shows a badge, with a gasp the guard sends someone to the city lord. After a few minutes they are let into the city lords mansion. The city lord looks at him and asks, "What do I owe the pleasure to this grandmaster?"

"Sir, I know about the Mafrial Clan. I need to get her there soon," Bori points to Maria.

"Why should I let you go there?" the city lord bellows.

"The church is after my kids, due to their talent. I have sent the letter with the servants and the other mother."

"Wait, this is serious give me a second," The city lord leaves. After a few minutes pass he comes back with someone.

"Bori, its you? Where is Drata and Linna?"

"Drata is still in Harmal. He held off the church the day we left. But as you know his former clan is also there. So he might already be captured sadly. Linna is on her way with the kids."

"Hurry with me. Even we can't keep the church from you for too long."

"I know this, but I will stay here to hold back the church. The church did something to Maria. Just protect her. Don't let Linna know that Maria is harmed. Just send them to that continent."

Looking at the two converse the city lord is astonished that they know each other. Bori hands Maria to the person, and whispers, "They have the highest talent. You know what that means to the church."

Looking at the city lord the guy holding Maria says, "You will tell no one of this encounter. This is top secret. If you mention it at all, you will be killed."

"Yes, Elder Mafrail Mels."

With Maria in his hands, Elder Mafrail Mels leaves the city. Arriving outside the city, Bori pulls out his glaive and continues forward. After a few hours, he is surrounded by the church once again.
