Breaking the Ice (1)

The doors open on cue, and soon a dining hall of extravagance appears. The outer limits of the room have several chairs for lounging and small round tables between them. On the other end of the room, there's a stage with a piano and other classical instruments. There's a dance floor just in front of the stage, presumably for those who wish to dance along with the band. In the center of the room, there's a long table. It's surely big enough to fit twenty guests on either side and one at each end. The end closest to entrance is vacant, but on the other far end, the Mistress awaits.

Amlith stands up as the two enter and waits patiently for them to approach her. Once they've reached an appropriate distance, Agora kneels down before her, and insists Trinity follows. Trinity obviously had no intention of doing so, but she agrees to not face Agora's wrath.

Amlith grins in amusement as she looks down at them, but soon says, "Trinity, please stand." Trinity immediately gets to her feet as requested and is soon face to face with Amlith.

She is immediately blown away by her look. She wears a stunning black dress that captures every curve of her slender body perfectly. There's a slit that runs up the right side of her leg to her hip and a diamond-shaped cut-out in the center of the chest section. Her bust is pronounced, with shapely breasts sitting loosely in the cups, only a thin halter around her neck for support.

Amlith is no stranger to women looking at her with lust, and even prides herself on the attention. However, seeing Trinity's gaze fall over her body in such a pure and non-salacious way; clearly admiring her due to her natural instincts, she can't help but feel a different kind of satisfaction.

"Trinity, I'll struggle to contain myself if you look at me in such a way for much longer."

As though she only just realized her actions, she looks down apologetically. "I'm sorry Miss Amlith. I was just so captivated by your beauty. I didn't mean to stare. Please forgive me."

Amlith smiles and walks towards Trinity, taking a closer look at her. She's tall and slender with minimal curves, her dress sitting loosely as a result. However, her broad face, sharp eyes and thin lips give her a charming appearance. "I was right in my thinking that black suits you best, but it seems I was misguided about the dress. A dashing suit would fit you more. We'll go with that next time." She twirls a strand of Trinity's hair in her fingers. "That said, you are still beautiful."

Trinity smiles politely, but quickly recoils from her touch. She notices the surprise on Amlith's face and offers a swift explanation. "I'm sorry Miss Amlith, I mean no offense. It's only that…."

"Ah, of course." She quickly understands the situation. "It was inappropriate of me to touch you without your consent. I'm sorry Trinity. I won't do it again without permission. Forgive me?"

"Of course Miss Amlith, I think I overacted anyway. Don't worry about it." She meekly replies.

An odd silence falls between them, but Amlith diverts the conversation. "Agora, rise." Agora finally stands up to face Amlith, but she doesn't look her directly in the eyes. Trinity has since observed that this is a trait all the servants she has met so far seem to share. "Fetch our meals."

"At once Mistress." Agora quickly exits the dining hall to carry out the requested task.

Amlith gestures to the seat directly adjacent to her seat on the right. "Please, come sit Trinity."

"Uh yes, of course!" Trinity quickly sits down as requested. "Thank you for your hospitality."

Amlith sits as well. "It's my pleasure Trinity, I want you to have a pleasant experience. Please don't be so formal, it's not necessary. I know it seems appropriate with the way everyone else responds to me, but you are not the same Trinity. I don't mean to look down on them, but the fact is that they are servants. They are hired to serve me and my guests as I command them. They give me the respect I expect from them as servants because it's simply how things work. It's not personal, just business. I compensate my servants fairly, at quite the competitive rates in fact. I ensure they have satisfactory working conditions, and all their needs are met. They're content."

"Right…that makes sense." She intends to leave it at that, but her lips seem to have a mind of their own. "I understand…but I still don't think it's right. Servants are not below either of us."

Amlith is slightly taken aback by her words. They tap on her nerves, but she quickly recovers. "Yes, they are the same in a manner of existence I suppose but their status simply cannot compare, no matter how much freedom I offer. That's just how things are done here Trinity."

"I get it Miss Amlith. I appreciate that you are willing to give me a pass, but we both know it's because you're trying to earn my favor. If I didn't have what you wanted would you be so kind?" Amlith's silence was the answer she expected. "I thought so. I'm not special Miss Amlith."

Amlith finally smiles once again. "Oh Trinity, that's where you're wrong. You're very special."

I wonder how good the benefits are for a servant?
