Just acquaintance

In the dark forest , a man was passing with his cattles . He was continuously wiping the sweat on his forehead and anxiously rolling his eyes in all directions.

The cattles were eating the green bushes quietly. Suddenly a slight commotion happened in the bushes and the man becomes attentive. He gulped his fear and remain at his place. The cattles who have sensed something dangerous stop eating the grass. But before they can run, the demons attacked them from behind the bushes.

They were about to eat them when a flying sword came towards them followed by a young man with fine muscles wearing white and golden robe . His black hair were flying in the air when he flawlessly killed the large demons with his smooth shining sword . His every attack was on the point . Seeing this the demons run from the place but the man chased them while jumping from branch to branch and before they can escaped they were killed by the man.

In few minutes the forest again becomes silent like nothing has happened. The poor villager falls on his knees and start kowtowing," May God bless general. Today you saved our village from this heinous monsters who not only kill our cattles but also destroyed the crops.".

The general put his sword back against his waist and left without uttering a word. He went straight on the top of the mountain from where this lushed green forest can be clearly seen. He stand their and get lost in his own thoughts.

The chirping of a bird let him out of his thoughts. He turned and saw a sea green sparrow flying towards him. He raised his hand and as soon as the sparrow lands on his hand it turns into a letter.

After reading it ,his thin lips curved into a smile. It feels like he got what he was finding.

He unleashed his sword and jumped on it. The sword flies in the speed of light above the large trees and mountains touching the clouds.

The scene shifts to a place full of dark clouds surrounded by the dark sea 'Afterlife prison '. Wang Zhengyu was discussing something with Xue Congming and he was listening and nodding his head in aggreement.

Knock....knock... A soldier who has caught his breathe knocked the door.

"What happens ??", Xue Congming asked in worry.

"Someone come to meet jailer", he said while catching his breathe.

"Someone comes to meet me ,not bad ".he chuckled and continued ;"let me him in I also want to see my well-wisher".

The soldier bowed and left.

"Who do you think who can come to meet you", Xue Congming asked while crossing his arms against his chest as he continues"Don't tell me I think I can guess".

No need to do that lets come and welcome the uninvited guest.

They both went into the hall where a man was already sitting comfortably with his one leg on another. He gracefully took the cup of tea and without turning he said as his lips curled into thin smile," It seems that you're didn't changed. Still the same".

Wang Zhengyu moved ahead and take the seat right opposite to him. He met his gaze with the person sitting infront of him and said,"Don't live in illusions . I am not the silly Zhengyu who was kind to even his enemies. You better not talk in riddles;Yan Yijian".

Yan Yijian Chuckled slightly he starred in his eyes with an intimidating look and said," Indeed you have changed but it not matters for me ".

For a moment Wang Zhengyu frozed his cheeks flushed slightly and the tips of his ears turned red. But he shake all this feelings and said "I don't think the great general of Yan empire specially come to meet his old friend oops sorry acquaintance".

"What made you think that? Oh you're thinking that I came here from the behalf of Yan empire but sorry for disappointing you that's not the reason for my arrival ", Yijian said while taking the sip of his tea.

For a moment Zhengyu's eyes twitched and brows creased. He saw Xue Congming and as he gets the sign as he went out of the room and closed the door.

Zhengyu shifted his gaze to Yijian and asked "than what is meaning behind this unexpected visit ".

Yijian place the cup on the table and took out a pendent with a beautiful sea green jade from his sleeve. He placed it on the table and said, "this probably give the answer of all the questions you want to ask".

Zhengyu lifted the jade and tossed it into the air but also catch it before it falls on the floor, "um...not bad but this is not mine i already have mine ".

"I know ;this is the other part of the jade you're wearing ", Yijian replied immediately.

Zhengyu took the jade at his neck and start matching them ,to his surprise the both jade get fitted in each other as they are one .

"Where did you get that", Zhengyu asked while eyes were totally consentrated on Yijian as he will vanish into thin air anytime.

Yijian smiled and replied, "last year when I went to a village in the south because of frequent attacks by the demons. I found it there. I try to find the person but all the villagers had already moved out of the village while most of them were killed by the demons".

Zhengyu lowered his gaze and hold the jade in his fist . "So what did you think ? Will they be alive".

"My sixth sense is telling me that they were alive ", as Yijian quickly reassures him and Zhengyu's eyes lit up.

Seeing the mood going heavy Yijian smiled and said, "I know you want to thanks me for finding the antique of your family but sorry I can't marry you".

After listening this Zhengyu starred at him as he will eat him alive. "Yan Yijian ,When did you become so shameless".

This is the first time Zhengyu feel this embarrassed. He can never imagine this type of joke from Yan Yijian. As from his memories Yan Yijian was always a person with high etiquette and he never ever spoke an unnecessary word out of his mouth.

Wang Zhengyu stood up and went out where Xue Congming was waiting him. He turned towards Xue Congming and told him;"uncle Xue prepare the ship I am going to the southern lands tomorrow".

Xue Congming want to ask question but when he saw Yan Yijian standing behind him he resist himself for doing so.

"As you wish Jailer", he said and bowed his head.

"And also prepare the guest room for him ", after saying this he moved away while Xue Congming take Yan Yijian to his room.

The night grews dark and Zhengyu falls in a deep sleep.

For everyone he was sleeping but in reality he was lost in the shadow of past.

Its likely a dream which reflects the past incidents and made us feel that we have gone back in time and actually experiencing them. As he tried to concentrate he found himself inside the familiar walls.
