Chapter 18 Nyami Returns

Soon after Neo's shocking revelation the trio slid down the windows of the skyscraper and landed in a nearby bush. Beside where they lay was the black car they used to reach New York.

In it was Coil resting under a warm wool blanket. Neo proceeded to carefully pick him up with the blanket still draping around his long slithery body.

After they were done Fang then used the blood vial they had gotten from the reptile minion. Poured it around himself, his friends and his car and in a matter of seconds they were already back at his house in Mississipi.

Everyone else was still asleep, unaware of the brutal incident that took place. Fang was relieved that Yin was still alive when she saw her clutching at the door knob.

He immediately rushed to hug her and helped to open the door. Once inside she placed a wet towel against her temple which still felt painful.

"So you agreed to take Neo to Castilo?" asked Yin 

"Yes," Hydrax answered "We know that he lives in Spain which means we have to fly there."

"But we're going to need a guardian." said Neo 

" I can_" she said before having to sit down after her temple throbbed.

"You're still in pain you need to rest." said Fang

"I know, I know , you can use this." Yin said after offering him her jade necklace.

This was the item she had used to summon Nyami in order to get Fang to Raptilia.

This was great news for them, now they could use Nyami to turn into human form to act as their guardian in order to board the flight to Spain. 

Before leaving, Yin gave her son Fang a goodbye kiss while Neo left her to take care of Coil.

"Wait a minute," she asked, "What should I feed him?"

"He likes fresh rats," Neo said. "Just leave him to hunt in the backyard."

"But" she stuttered, "Where should he rest?"

But they were already gone and there she stood alone with the cold blooded python resting on her hands.

"Well I guess it's just you and me." Yin said nervously.

In the meantime Fang and his friends had arrived at the lake where they were planning to summon Nyami.

Since the vial they had used to transport back to Mississipi was already empty.

Nyami was the only guardian they had available who was familiar enough with Earth to help them get to Spain.

Fang tapped on the lake three times with the jade necklace and a few moments later he noticed a tail moving through the water.

Soon after Nyami's head sprouted from the lake that was almost too small for him to fit.

 Nyami looked at his surroundings with both confusion and alertness. He looked down and was overjoyed to see Fang and hugged him with his huge wet paws.

Hydrax and Neo who were standing outside of his car laughed as they saw Fang's clothes completely drenched.

The laughter soon subsided when Nyami asked why they had summoned him and where his mother was. The trio explained to him about the story of Castillo and how Neo was also a clone.

"I never knew" he said "We didn't know as well until now."

Nyami, although shocked, realised the similarities Neo had from a person he knew during the Pyro-Crystal war.

"But still why do we need to go by plane? I can easily carry all three of you there."

"Cause we don't want to be noticed." Fang answered

"We want to be able to live normal lives and not have cameras in our faces all the time."

Nyami understood immediately it was the same reason he rejected the council , he was never interested in politics and did not like the concept of always feeling anxious if he would ever be voted out by a contender.

All he wanted was to be around a group of people who would support him and look up to him like his deceased parents.

"Very well I'll go but there is only one problem." 

"And what is it?" asked Hydrax

"Can't you turn into human form." Neo asked as well

"Yes I can , but" he chuckled. His face flushed in embarrassment as he spoke again.

"Did any of you bring clothes for me? Because I'm currently not wearing any."
