Skirmish

Wraith looked at Gambit with a nasty looking smile, while Gambit laid his head down in defeat. He hated the narcotic berry, only cause it tasted completely sour and bad.

"Keep a eye on him okay?", spoke Ahnyx with a smile.

Wraith nodded without looking at him. "Right."

Goong turned away and Ahnyx followed after him, for they would return to Bloodmaw and the others. They would get a few more hours of sleep, after all they will be needing it.

Rain opened her eyes as she heard a low sound, she looked at Hawkeye a little surprised before smiling. He was waking up and that was wonderful, though she didn't know wether to stay in this place or leave it.

"R-Rain?", groaned Hawkeye.

"I'm here, it is okay.", replied Rain who softly touched Hawkeye gently.

Hawkeye looked around with his lone eye, he looked at Rain before smiling lightly. "What happened?"

Rain looked at him with a happy expression, her eyes were misty with light tears. She was glad that he looked better than he did. "Long story, b-but we got help. Your eye was properly treated thanks to Ahnyx."

"Ahnyx..?", questioned Hawkeye.

"Mhm, a skilled herbalist.", softly spoke Rain as she smiled softly.

Hawkeye closed his eye, his face still showed how exhausted he was. Lifting his head, he slowly stood up and after doing so did he feel dizzy headed. Rain softly took a hold of one of his hands, her eyes shivered in concern. She didn't know if he should be up or not.

Rain looked up at him and watched as Hawkeye looked down at her curiously.

"Where are we?", asked Hawkeye not knowing where he was.

"A place where herbivores and carnivores work together?", replied Rain carefully for she didn't know how well he would take the news.

Hawkeye looked at her in great disbelief, for he had never heard of such a thing. His eye looked over at two individuals who were definitely meat eaters. Rain looking worried softly tugged on his hand for she didn't want anything bad to happen to Hawkeye again. He was recovering well and didn't want him to get hurt again, it took so long for him to get back onto his feet and the last thing she wanted was for him to die.

"I know you.", spoke Hawkeye looking directly at Wraith who slowly looked at him silently.

Gambit blinked, he was feeling sleepy but he looked at the parasaurolophus who was eyeing Wraith as some kind of murder. "Hey calm down will you?", spoke Gambit.

Rain looked up at Hawkeye very scared.

"Of course you do.", replied Wraith with little emotion in her voice.

Gambit looked at her curiously before looking between the two sides, he didn't know what happened but he figured that Wraith knew the herbivore.

Hawkeye shook his head, he snorted loudly before walking off in a slow and shaky manner. Rain ran after him with great concern, while Wraith watched him go with a emotionless expression.

"You two know each other?", asked Gambit.

Wraith scoffed with her eyes closed, she clearly didn't like the herbivore. "A while back a group of ours tried to kill them off. I was involved with it."

Gambit looked at her silently, he looked down not knowing what to say to her.

Wraith looked at him before frowning sharply, "Don't you dare try to tell me that it was not my fault, I for the record wanted to kill them."

Gambit stared at her before slowly saying, "You didn't kill them now though? If you still wanted to kill them you would have at this very moment right?"

Wraith looked at him with a blank face, she bared her fangs lightly as her face became seriously angered. "You don't know me."

Gambit shrugged his shoulders while he laid on his stomach, "You're right I don't know you, but I feel that I am starting to?"

Wraith shook her head with annoyance, "Just sleep already."

Gambit couldn't help but smile lightly, he closed his eyes as he took a deep breath.

Wraith watched him silently before crossing her arms while making a low "Hmph". She closed her eyes as she decided to rest her eyes for a bit.

The night was still over the community, Rain caught up with Hawkeye as she spoke out in her fear. "Hawkeye! Where are you going!"

"I am getting out of here.", replied Hawkeye as he continued forward.

"You need rest though!", retorted Rain with light tears falling down from her eyes. The moonlight above made her tears faintly glow a pure white color. "Please, Hawkeye I don't want to lose you!"

Hawkeye stopped as he looked down at her, his expression was twisted in pure pain. She was that concerned about him. "I am not going anywhere though?"

Rain looked at him as she hugged herself, her small frame shivered in her fear of being left alone. "B-But something could happen! You almost died before and I couldn't do anything to help you! I-I was so scared that I..."

Hawkeye looked at her with a guilty expression, he slowly lowered himself down so that he could bring her close to him. "I'm sorry for scaring you, Rain."

Rain placed her petite hands upon his chest as she closed her eyes tightly, it was as if she was trying to stop the tears from falling, but to little avail. "I'm always scared..."

Hawkeye looked at her before he smiled some, "I won't leave you alone, I will try to be more careful okay?"

Rain looked at him as she softly smiled back, "O-okay."

Hawkeye nodded as he looked at her, he lifted his head as he looked around curiously. The walls were large which was the first thing he noticed, he also took note of the herbivores and carnivores sleeping somewhat close together.

It would seem that Rain was telling the truth, but why would both sides work together all of a sudden. For what purpose would the two forgive and forget about what had happened for so many years. Herbivores would always be chased by the carnivores, but now they were working together as if the pain from the past had never existed.

Hawkeye looked at Rain as he said, "Why don't we rest?"

Rain looked at him as she nodded, she was glad that he had said that for he needed all of the rest that he could get. "Okay!" She smiled which made her tears fall less.

Hawkeye nodded with a smile before standing up slowly, he walked over to the other herbivores deciding to rest near them. Rain followed after him with a soft looking smile, she would join him in sleep.

As time slowly continued to move forward, the dark colored sky began to take on a lighter color. Indication that the morning was approaching, and as the darkness began to lift, some began to wake up from their slumber.

Scarface was getting up deciding to get ready to head off to where the hunting pack would be. He walked over to wake up Jr who smiled at him very thankful to him for waking him up. Bloodmaw nodded at the two for he had strong faith in the both of them. The great leader of his clan knew that everyone would work hard.

They always do, and he didn't doubt them in the slightest.

Scarface smiled as he walked off, Jr was right behind him as they left. Ruby looked after Scarface with her eyes narrowed some in concern. She knew that Scarface would be alright but she couldn't help but worry about him, especially when he was hunting.

"Don't worry, he will be fine.", spoke Bloodmaw.

"I hope so.", replied Ruby.

Jr walked on ahead of Scarface, he shook his head as the early breeze passed by his frame. Scarface looked at Jr with a smile before his eyes went wide as he felt a strong impact on his side, it was then that he recognized who it was.

It was early, and everyone was starting to wake up. It was clear that Impale had other plans besides hunting in mind.

Impale glared at Scarface, his eyes were full of anger. "I am going to settle this."

Jr looked back and frowned, "Can you not!"

"Can it you brat!", hissed Impale.

Scarface looked at him with his eyes hardening, "Don't talk to him like that!"

Impale smirked, "Oh? Would you rather me call your girl a name? I mean I have one name in mind? Maybe I can make her see what a absolute joke you are!"

It was like something snapped in Scarface, the fact that Impale was saying things about Ruby really made his blood boil. "Don't you call her anything!", he snapped with his fangs bared.

Impale gave Scarface a unkind wink, "Oh I know, when I beat you I will make her my property?"

Jr blinked with wide eyes as Scarface lunged at Impale, he watched as Scarface brought Impale to the ground as dirt kicked up. "Guys!"

Jr could only watch as Scarface and Impale delivered deep wounds to each other. He didn't want this to happen, seeing as they could all be in trouble.

Scarface grabbed a hold of Impale's maw, his eyes narrowed in his rage. He was furious for no one had the right to say bad things about any other individual, and he definitely had no right to do that to Ruby who he liked.

Impale was thrashing underneath Scarface, his feet kicking and landing cuts upon the legs and chest of Scarface. Scarface winced when he felt a hard impact to the center of his stomach. All in a instant he was kicked off of Impale and landed on the ground.

Impale had kicked Scarface off, he quickly got up and got over Scarface as his mouth snapped on Scarface's throat.

Scarface let out a loud snarl in response to his throat being taken, he glared hard as he used his claws to slash at the mouth of Impale. Both of them were intent on hurting the other badly, which was why Jr ran over and begun to push Impale off of Scarface. "Stop it!", he spoke seriously.

Jr blinked as Impale turned his head fast hitting Jr with the horn on his nose. The horn sunk into the side of Jr's cheek leaving a small but deep hole. Scarface was able to recover and using both of his feet did he kick Impale in the stomach hard which made him groan loudly, and then got up fast to ram into his chest which toppled him over.

Scarface had a good hold of the right side of his face that he begin to thrash from side to side which made Impale scream out in pure agony. Long deep lacerations were from both sides of Impale's right face, the wounds were deep as blood poured from his right side.

Jaeger ran over as he got in between the two, "What are you two doing!?!"

"I'm going to kill him!", screamed an enraged Impale who had deep wounds on the complete right side of his face, his eye was not spared for it bled badly from the wounds that he had gotten from Scarface.

"You are supposed to work together! The community is counting on us!", snapped Jaeger.

"Screw the community!", hissed Impale as he slowly stood up. The blood pouring from his face began to drip onto the ground in light dripping sounds.

Scarface looked at Impale not at all afraid, the wounds he had gotten were bad and not to mention he got a new cut over his left eye. His eyes were fine though unlike Impale having now lost his right eye. "I will admit that I did something wrong, I shouldn't of fought but I could not ignore what he had said about Ruby."

Jaeger looked at Scarface before looking at Impale who smirked at Scarface. "You only attacked cause you know I could take her from you. You are so insecure and weak, she will leave you and you know it."

Scarface glared at Impale but blinked as Jaeger stood in front of Scarface, he looked at Impale with a glare of his own. "Shut up, you have lost this fight."

"I didn't lose anything!", roared Impale.

"No, I say that you have lost.", snarled Razzak which got the attention of everyone.
