Rimuru's P.O.V

I just discovered something interesting yet troublesome.

It is in the middle of the night two days after I lived in this village. As I don't have anything to do, I secretly sneak out of the house to one of the training grounds even though it is raining.

I secretly train my current body with a sword and a little magic as I can't do anything that will stand out.

While I was training, I sense some people far away from my spot. I quietly look who are those people and I saw something grievous.

It was something you called child abuse. Three people working together to beat up two children.

It was a blond boy and a red-headed girl. The blond is the Main Character and I have no idea who the other child is.

When I saw what they are doing, I immediately stopped them and Erase their memory as they might probably saw my face and it is not good.

I look over the two and they were already unconscious. I carried the two over as they are so light as left those people behind.

This really didn't mention before. Well, Ciel is the one who made it so...

Then I heal their wounds all over their body. I looked at their face and I saw that they looked alike.

But the girl didn't have any whiskers on her face. They really looked cute while sleeping.

After an hour of their sleep, the two waked up at the same time. The two looked scared at first but eventually make themselves comfortable.

Then I introduced myself and asked their name. The answer is...

"Hi. My name is Uzumaki Naruto and she is my sister, Uzumaki Minami."

That really shocked me but just a little as I already know that at first sight.

And now, I'm still looking at them, as they started to stay silent.

"Then, what are you doing outside?" I asked them without saying something kids couldn't understand.

"W-" Before Naruto says something, Minami interrupted him.

"We are just going to look over the stars. We can see stars there clearer." She immediately said without missing a single beat.

'Lies.'

She lied. First I know when someone is telling a lie with their aura. Second, it is raining earlier even before I decided to sneak out.

"Tell me the truth." I ordered with a little authority in it.

"W-We are just training because I want to become a Hokage someday!" Naruto confessed but it is still a lie.

"I know when someone is lying so you can't lie on me even how much you try. You two, you won't be able to leave here until you confessed the truth."

I said as all of the opened windows suddenly closed and the living room before, become a black room without anything around except the chairs we are sitting in.

I'll not do something like this to some random and normal kids but after what I saw earlier, I already know they are not normal ones.

This might be probably a chance to make them trust me. They might become a trump card in the future.

I looked at them but they don't seem scared about what happened.

"Then... what will you do?" I asked as the two sighed.

"How..."

"How can you tell that just by looking? Are you some kind of god or something?" Minami Ironically asked.

"You don't have to keep it to me." I said as they sighed more.

'These brats!'

"How did you do it? You look like at our age, you know." Naruto said in loose.

'Well, wait. I'm the one who supposed to question you that.'

"Then... Don't make me wait. The ramen will be cold."

I tried to bate one of them and it...

"We just want to visit our parents on the KIA." Naruto finally confessed as I secretly smiled.

'Diablo... Cook a ramen for us. Like how Shuna teaches you.'

'As you will.'

"Brother!" Minami hissed as he looked at her with an apologizing look.

"Now, why don't you tell me the detail about that?"

I smiled as the two looked horrified. Then they told me the whole story of theirs.

The story starts when they asked the Hokage who their parents are. They said that they are not satisfied with the answer he's giving to them so they tried to find it.

As they can't remember any memory of their parents being with them, they thought that their parents must have died when they are one or before one.

As the most possible reason they died is when the nine-tailed beast attacked, they looked at the KIA, where all of the shinobi's names that died are written there, they thought they might find some.

But when they looked at it, they remembered neither of them can read. That's why they spend years to memorized most of it secretly.

Then they thought that they didn't really need to read all of it as they only need to know all the dead Yamanaka's as Naruto's a blond like them.

But after their search, all of that is wrong. So they started to search all of those names in the KIA.

They again spend another year but there's no chance. Then they read many books in the library and saw an old book that is titled, The Uzumaki Clan.

They read it and knew that one of their parents is a read-headed like in the book said. They search it again and one hope appeared. The one and only Uzumaki Kushina.

They asked some people who is Uzumaki Kushina but no one knows about her or some didn't really want to tell it.

That's why when they decided to ask the Hokage if their mother is actually her, they saw a picture frame in the tower.

It was the Fourth Hokage. They realized that he looked like Naruto. Then it cleared up in their mind why the other people said about it is because of them the Fourth died.

It is because they were his children. It means he truly loved them that he died from protecting them.

That's the time when they worked hard to be like their parents and become strong enough to protect each other.

But the question is...

"You can just do it in the morning or tomorrow, right?" I asked them as they shook their head.

"There's someone secretly looking at us. It is just a coincidence that no one spy us earlier. Also. During the morning, a creepy man always looking there like a creep. Even when raining. That's why we never got a chance."

Minami said as I chuckled slightly.

"What are you going to do to us now?" She asked.

"I have a proposal to you, want to know?" I smiled as they looked confused.

"..."

"I want to adopt you two." I said without joking as their mouth dropped to the floor.

"What?!"

"Are you out of mind?!"

"You're the same age as mine!"

They complained as I just smiled it off.

"As far as I know, my brain is still attached."

"Don't worry too much. I'll train you, feed you, raise with you and others else. So, what about that?" I asked but they still looked troubled.

"That's not the problem. It is about the council. Not long until now, there's someone who wants to adopt us like you. But they all immediately rejected it. She tried to fight it but they exile her instead." She maturely explained as I nodded.

"That's right! They have no shame, you know!" Naruto agreed.

"Well, I already have prepared something for that. So... What will you do?" I asked.

"Deal." They both said with a smile on their face.

After that, all of us eat the ramen Diablo prepared for us. Naruto, being so comfortable, told us some hard problems they encountered that time.

Even though they are so mature for their age, they are still a child. Before they left, I explained to them all of the plans and their role.

And three weeks have passed...
