Dinner and the Night.

As they were called for dinner, both the couples walked hand in hand through the hallways. As soon as they reached the large dining hall, they all sat side by side. Aiden who glanced at the intertwined hands of Izan and Ethan, rised his eyebrows at them. "Oh- I didn't get to tell you, Father! He's my mate!!" Izan said like an excited child.

"I am so happy for, kid. And Ethan, good luck 'cause he's a handful sometimes. You must tame him." Aide said to Ethan who simply smiled at him. "You said he's not your brother!" Derik whispered in Eeve's ear his one hand resting on her thigh under the table. "Yeah he's not my brother but Izan calls him father. When he was created and sent to the Realm, my father accepted him as his own child." Eeve explained and removed the hand on her thigh. Derik nodded and slightly pouted for the loss of contact with his mate.

Derik being the stubborn child, he again rested his hand on her thigh releasing a Huff. Eeve giggled at her childish mate. "What's with you, bun!?" Eeve asked in a whisper as she took a bite. Derik just smiled sheepishly and bopped her nose.

Aiden who was sitting in the head chair of the Dining table, admired his children who were enjoying their time with their mates. He just hopes that they will stay happy for eternity. But little did he know, Someone was planning for the worse.

They all ate dinner in silence for a while and stood up to go to their respective chambers. Derik and Ethan were instructed to rest ('cause vampires don't sleep) in the opposite chamber of Eeve. Derik was slightly sad but something popped in his mind. Ethan was sitting in the balcony with a bottle full of blood in his hand. He was admiring the night sky untill he felt a hand on his shoulder.

He looked up and saw his brother standing by his side. "What are you thinking about!?" Derik asked and sat beside him. "About Us. Eeve, Izan, Derik, Ethan. How these four Royal vampires are connected to each other. How I am blessed to have a mate like him and stuff. I just wish we all stick together for eternity." Ethan said as he took another sip from the bottle, still looking at the moon less night sky.

"I know, right!? I hope the same brother. They are everything we could ever ask for. After going through everything in our lives, we finally found who will love us." Derik smiled and looked at his brother. "Hey! wanna sneak out and go to your mate!? 'cause I'm planning on doing it." Derik said with a mischievous smile on his face. Ethan just chuckled at his brother and shook his head. "No. Izan needs sleep. He said he's not a complete vampire. He's half human, he doesn't drink blood like us. So he must be sleeping now." Ethan said calmly.

"Ah- okay." Derik said confused and teleported to Eeve's chamber in a snap. He saw her sleeping on her stomach and reading a book. Before he could admire the perfect curves of his mate, Eeve turned around when she sensed his presence.

"Stupid Vampire senses! Sometimes I hate all the Vampires including me for having these sharp senses!" Derik threw tantrums like a child and plopped beside Eeve burying his face in the pillows. Eeve rised her eyebrows and looked at him. "Why bun!? What's wrong!?" Derik looked up at her and pulled her in his embrace. "Nothing is wrong. I can't even admire my mate's beauty! Before I could do or say anything, you'll swiftly turn around and ruin my moment." Derik blabbered and snuggled closer to his mate.

"Oh~ is my little mate is upset because he didn't get to look at me!?" Eeve asked and she ran her fingers through his hair as his head was now resting on her chest. He nodded like a puppy. "Can we cuddle!?" His voice came out muffled.

"What do you think we are doing right now!?" Eeve asked and giggled. "Oh- yeah whatever!" Derik just rubbed his nose on her coller bone and pecked her lips. "Belle, what do you think our future would be like!?" Derik asked calmly switching their positions. Now her head resting on his rock hard chest. "Well, all I see is, you and me. We Will be ruling side by side, with two little kids running around the realm, we'll see them grow up and I don't know what else, I just want to be with you."

Eeve said and smiled as she played with the hem of his silk dress shirt. Derik was beyond happy to hear those things from her. He was imagining the same things all this while. After Eeve stepped in his life, he looked more alive than ever. He just wants everything to go well in their lives.

"I love you so much, Belle~" Derik said and kissed the top of her head. "I love you too, bun." Eeve replied with same love and passion in her voice. They both snuggled in silence for a while. "Belle!?" Derik said as he rubbed circles on her back. Eeve just hummed and looked up at him. "Izan is a half human!?" Derik asked remembering what Ethan said just a while ago.

"Yeah. He's different from us. We can also say that he's kind of special. When he was created, he was a human. But when he was sent to the realm, Selene turned him into a Royal vampire. But still he's a human. And that's why he isn't allowed to go out of the realm alone." Eeve explained calmly. "Oh-" Derik couldn't say anything else. "Yeah, oh." Eeve giggled and kissed him on his lips.

Derik didn't let her break the kiss, he pulled her on top of him still keeping their lips in sync. He snaked his hands around her waist leaving no gap between them. They both kissed passionately for a while and broke apart. "Bun!?" Eeve looked at him with hooded eyes.

"I know, Belle. We'll make love when we complete the mating process. I will wait for that day, it's coming soon anyway but I'll make it special for you, for me." Derik spoke with so much love in his voice making Eeve fall for him even harder~
