Chapter 32

After Fesil smashed all of the capsule, the water is flowing and spreading slowly yet quite fast. It would only be a matter of time now before the whole room is going to be filled with water.

"Lady Rigelle, The water from the capsules seems to be coming from something. It won't stop flowing. We have to get out of here!" Comil said and we tried to look for a way out.

We have to look for another way out tho... Going back to the upper part of the mansion will be a suicide. With this kind of house, underground secret passages wouldn't be a surprise anymore. The church back then also had a lot of secret passages that leads to underground dungeons.

At the back of the big capsules, There seems to be a desk and some unknown buttons with lots of color. At the side of the buttons, there are papers and a book with a title of a language I can not understand at all.

We hurriedly took everything that we could get and started looking for a way to open anything that could lead us out from this room. We already checked every part of the wall yet we don't have any luck at all. Slowly without us noticing, the water level is already above our waist.

"We must make haste guys!" I said to Fesil and Comil who's at the verge of slowly losing their hope.

We've already checked every parts of the wall... The water is already at the level of our necks and we also started to float and swim but we just can't keep this up. Any time soon and the water would reach the ceiling. Good thing that our cases seems to be water proof and we've placed the book and papers inside.

The water feels strange... The color and scent... is different... I feel dizzy...

"LADY RIGELLE!!! YOU MUSTN'T BREATH IT!" Comil warns

But it was no use... I could hear her but my sight is slowly fading and my whole body is losing strength. The only part of my body that I could feel are my hands. Without noticing, I unconsciously pulled a candle holder in the wall and twisted it. All of a sudden, a big round way was opened and we were dragged there as the flow of the water keeps on going. Nobody knows if this could lead us out or to our doom.

(Kaishin's POV)

For some reason I feel so warm... Where is this place?...

"Kaishin! Kaishin come over here." Says the sweet voice of a girl

Risa is that you?...

I couldn't see her face but her voice seems very familliar... Could it be that she is Risa???

I reached out my hands and touched her cheeks or... so I thought... I opened my eyes and realized that it was all just a dream. The one I'm touching their cheeks is not Risa but Val... I hurriedly let go and found Val keep on staring at me, Confused.

"Ahem... please do forget about that..." I say as I still feel embarass at the very moment.

"You have a slight fever but gladly, The temperature seems to have went down." Val says.

I drifted my look away from him to the campfire. I watched it blazes then burns... With its light reflected to my eyes, I asked Val a question as I continue to stare at the fire as it burns.

"Hey Val... Earlier... Did I look like a monster to you?..." I asked Val

(Val's POV)

That question is making me uncertain of what to answer. The man in front of me looks nothing like the monster that gone berserk earlier, at all... Yet, I can't deny that they are still the same person.

"Y-yes..." I said as my voice trembles a bit.

"I see..." Kaishin says.

He continued to stare at the bonfire as his stare felt empty.

"Please keep it a secret from our Lady..." He says

I nod in response and we both stayed still as where we were. Waiting for him to recover a bit.

I definitely can't let lady Rigelle see that form of me ever... I don't want her to be afraid of me. Just...not her...
