chapter 3 Awakening

Clan elder [ good morning my fellow clansman! Today marks a very important day for you all, it is the day that will decide your future and our Clans.]

I looked around to see all my Clans men and Future classmates, there were about 200 people around the same age as me. I know for sure that there's two players here and there's most likely to be more who spawned here as well. I never found out how many players were here in my last life, because the system prevents anyone from spreading the information. Even if a player wanted to tell someone they were players. They would immediately be muted and any writing would also become censored. No one has ever found a way to say it outright that they were a player while online. The only way to tell people who you were is by telling them in real life or by your actions in a game.

The only way I found out who the two players were was because one of them had a YouTube channel and would upload his own gameplay. As for the other player he gave himself away pretty easily. When a certain Clans man started selling music instruments that were new to the clan.

Clan elder[ next up Crim Don Ito and Itzel Don Ito.]

Oh it's my turn already, I stepped up along with a girl who looked a bit like me. She was my twin sister who was born a few minutes older than me. We both began walking into the stream that had hope gu in it. I could feel a wonderful warmth inside of me as I could feel my aperture being created. It wasn't long till I could take no more steps.

Yep same as last time not the worst but definitely not the best. I looked up to see my sister who managed to take a few more steps than me.

As we made our way back I could feel my sister's eyes on me. I could tell she pitied me for being a c grade Talent, but what could she do she had no way of helping me. Though not that I need her help, after a couple more hours everyone had to finish with Awakening ceremony. Out of 200 clansmen only about 163 awakened an aperture. Out of the 163 only one was an A grade Talent, 4 were B grade. While the rest of us were c or d grade talents.

Clan elder[ all right everyone today's ceremony has ended. Do not be unhappy if you have not awakened an aperture. There are more ways to assist the clan and the clansman then just being able to fight. Now for those who have awakened an aperture I want you all to practice controlling your primeval essence. For tomorrow you shall start the academys teaching.]

Everyone who had awakened an aperture began to cheer, as those few who didn't were clearly the ones who didn't awaken. As I made my way home my sister came up to me.

Itzel[ crimy mother and father said to meet them now that the ceremony is over.]

I shook my head to acknowledge her statement. She didn't say anything else she most likely thinks I'm upset. We then made our way silently to our household and entered the families meeting room.

In the room there were two people a light-skinned woman with green eyes and straight long dark brown hair. She was very pleasant to look at especially now since she was wearing a kind caring look on her face. The second person was a man with long dark brown hair and a beard to match it, he had light brown eyes and had darker brown skin. Although it was hard to tell what sort of expression was on his face due to his beard, his eyes were a dead giveaway. When I looked into his eyes I could see a serious worried expression.

These two were my mother and father in this world. Alice Don Ito and Ron Don Ito, my mother was the Clans elder meaning she was ranked 3, my father was a ranked 2 Peak stage gu master. The only reason why he hadn't advanced yet was because he was barely a b grade Talent. He was not confident in breaking through to the next rank.

Father[ both of you take a seat.]

Mother[ we have already learned about your aperture grades. Just know that c grade talent does not mean you won't be able to become strong. With our support you'll be guaranteed to be a rank 2 gu master crimy]

She said while looking at me with a warm smile.

Father[ now something you should know tomorrow the academy Elder will be giving everyone their first gu. As well as four rank one primeval essence stones. In the bag in front of you there is three rank one primeval essence stones. These stones are to help you refine your first gu]

Itzel/crim[ thank you mother and father.]

Mother[ you may both leave now father and I have something to discuss.]

With that we both left the room leaving only mother and father.

Father[ although at least one of them became a b great talent. It does not mean she is fit to lead our branch.]

Mother[ will only know within time, but you're right so I was thinking we should try to have more kids.]

Father[ but if we do you'll be in a weakened state others may try to take advantage of that.]

Mother[ you're right but how long will great Pleasures killer move still be in effect. If we act now we can have another set of twins Maybe more.]
