In life, we face several situations. Both the good and the bad. We just have to face it, endure it and then, we survive. But, what would we have done if those situations are the ones facing us? Would we punch them in the face and tell them to get lost, or accept them as our fate? We get blamed for doing things we have the right to do, and we do nothing about it. We are afraid of circumstances, and go through a bigger circumstance to cover up a small circumstance. Nevertheless, we don't do anything about it. We cry and regret coming to this world. What exactly would we have done? We can't escape fate, we just have to accept it, face it, fight it and win.

Dave's case was quite pitiful. Augustus could not defend him in court. Hart was in the hospital. Karina, his lawyer, was a complete crazy lawyer. Poor him! I had just returned home, and I remembered I didn't give any feedback to Hart about the Miami Book Company. I ran back to the hospital. We just signed a contract with them. The contract was about exchange of ideas for money. It was a trade contract. Even though our company was not among the top, but it had quality.

"Secretary Mesa, I thought you just left. Why are you here again?" He asked.

"I was worried about leaving you all alone here." I said.

"I'm very fine. You must have been stressed, go home. " He replied.

"It must've been really hard. But, just endure it. Everything will be fine. "

"You are used to saying that. Is that your slogan or what ?" He asked jokingly. That was the first time he tried to say a joke. He was always serious and cold.

"Anyway boss, I went to Miami Book Company yesterday. " I answered — ignoring the joke.

"Really? Did you find anything strange? What about Mia Jane? Did she look expensive?"

"Yes. But , she was very rude." I said showing emotion of disgust.

"People like her are always like that. I have met a lot of them. I'm not surprised that she's like that. She has to be, so people would bow to her." He spouted.

"That's nice. " I smiled.

"You know you look pretty these days? Are you trying to seduce me?" He asked. He sounded like he wanted me. But, I turned my eyes away.

"I will accept that as a compliment sir. " I smiled again.

"I think I should get married. By this age, I'm just lonely. I need someone to love. " He said. I was shocked. He was someone who never cared about girls. Despite his good looks, he never gave anyone a chance.

"Yes, you have to sir. Many CEOs need at least someone to rely on. Someone you can love, someone you can tell everything. And most of the times, you think about them, you love them, you want them. The feeling itself is satisfying. " I laughed. I seemed to have been close with him.

"You look like you're talking out of experience. I felt that way too. Before Maya died, she was the only one I loved. The first day she kissed me, I was so happy. I thought it was a dream. But, it was not up to three months, she broke up with me. I feel so lonely. So bad! I don't seem to like any girl right now. " He smirked.

"Wait. Who brought this topic? Why is he telling me all these? Should I call the doctor? He's acting weird. I can't believe him. What will I say now?" I thought.

"You just have to give someone a chance. " That was all I could say.

"That's why I have you, secretary Mira. " He said drastically. I blinked thrice. I was shocked. What was he trying to say?

"I don't understand sir".

"Don't worry. I don't like you. I just want you. It's been a long time since I wanted a girl. Will you give me your body?" He asked in a seductive manner.

I ran out of the ward, my heart pounding like the world was going to end.

"What's he saying? Is he mad? What have gotten over him? He must have been waiting for an answer. He said he does not like me, but he want me. Wait, what kind of want? I didn't even ask. "I just received a call from my aunt. She's at my house. I have to go sir. " I lied.

"You didn't take your phone along. Your phone is here beside me. " He said. I made a silly mistake. At this stage, I didn't know what to say.

"You haven't given me your answer. Do you also want me?" He asked again. I said nothing — looking down. "It's like you do. That's great. No girl would resist me anyways. Come have your phone" He said smiling.

I went to him to collect my phone. But, he grabbed my hand.

"I said I wanted you. Why did you seduce me when you knew you wouldn't give me an answer? No one is here. " He said softly. It was that day that I realized that I had not gotten over him completely. He dragged me closer and kissed me. It was a deep kiss. His lips were warm. I could feel it. I lost my guard. I dropped my bag and climbed on him, kissing him passionately. At that stage, we were breathing heavily. I didn't know why he wanted me or how I seduced him. My mind was blank. At that moment, all what I wanted to do was to taste every part of him. He was a damn good kisser. I forgot the fact that he was hospitalized. He held me by the waist as we licked our tongues passionately. I was not satisfied. I took off my shirt but he removed his mouth from mine for a while.

"Anyone could enter, let's stop this. " He said breathing heavily.

"You said you wanted me. No one is here. Actually, I'm horny right now. " I kissed him back. He couldn't resist it. But he stopped me. For the first time, I almost had sex with a guy, my boss in precise.

I stood up from him, wore my shirt, took my bag and as I was about to leave, he said, " thank you. I haven't felt this way for years. This is a sign that I still have feelings. " He smiled. I couldn't say anything but left. I was a little bit embarrassed. I almost slept with my boss, I kissed my boss! Boomerang!

"That man is a wolf in sheep's clothing. He killed my sister. My sister died as a result of his rape. He sexually molested her. It was reported to the police but it was covered up. We received no compensation, no apology. My sister was the only family I have. I'm very much excited that that man ended up dying. I was supposed to be the one to kill him. But, I had no chance. That man deserves to die. The person that killed him did well. The person should not go to jail. The man itself should be jailed even in his death." One of the victims told her.
