The one she desire

Ella was chuckling when she saw her parents yelling at each other because she thought it was for no reason at all.

She made way for them as they pushed each other and a smile was planted on her face as she looked at them.

Her father kept trying as hard as he could to avoid the attacks his Luna kept launching at him.

It was funny that he could actually hold her down with just one hand but he decided against that and let her beat him instead.

Finally, they both had to stop for a while and Lisa was panting heavily, she took the fight really seriously.

When Ella moved closer to them, looking at them with puppy eyes, she and her dad bursted into laughter.

Her mother however looked unconcerned and so angry with the reactions they were giving her.

Ella had expected that her mother would laugh as well and quickly blame everything on Ella's father.

Other times, she would even ask Ella to join her in beating her own father and they would all sleep after they have stressed themselves out.

It was not as though they always had the time to play and enjoy themselves like this but on days where Elisha did not go for his Alpha duties, he was fully available.

Then they always had the best of best times together and Ella always looked forward to them, but at the same time she did not mind that he was not always around.

Her mother covered up and made everything so perfect when her dad was around and it was what everyone loved about her.

She said it times without number that she wanted to be just like her mother but not as stubborn as her mother was.

Anytime her mother made up her mind to do something, she ensured that she did it and it worked out perfectly well.

Although some of Ella's friends kept telling her that she had that type of character, she had not seen it in herself yet.

And sometimes when she asked her mom and dad if she was stubborn, they always answered by saying she was a determined young girl and it was good.

Her father would always say that she was strong and everything was just supposed to be done moderately by her.

"Mom, Dad, what's going on here?"

"Nothing sweetheart, I and your mother are just having one of those fights again." Her dad said with a cute smile on his face.

Ella really loved her father, not only because he always showered he and her mother with so much love.

But he made them feel special with all the endearments he used for her and also how he treated her very uniquely.

In fact, everyone loved her father, as the Alpha of the pack, he was not only doing his best in protecting their pack members, he truly cared for them.

It was obvious and funny at times that he was a very emotional person and at the same time very strict.

She knew how much her mother adored him and it was always in her face when she looked at him, but this look was different.

Ella could even see in the dark that something bad had gone wrong but she still thought it was a mild issue.

If she knew that this night would turn into one of her greatest nightmares then she would have chosen not to be born in this family.

Lisa was still looking so enraged and not even answering Ella but staring hard into her husband and Alpha's face.

"Well, Mom doesn't look like what has been going on has been just one of those fights"

"I understand, you, darling."

"So, what is going on?"

Ella turned to her mother to try to ease whatever pain she was feeling because obviously a thought was really bothering her.

"Mama, what is going on?" She said in one sweet manner that should make her mother even blush slightly.

But her mother opened her mouth to talk and she just started crying, uncontrollably tears flowed down her cheeks.

Ella rushed to her mother and looked at her father asking him with her eyes, what was going on.

She only tried to pet her mother after holding onto her tightly and not talking much to her to make her continue crying.

Since she knew her mother, she had never seen her cry before, not even tears of joy on anything that has happened to them.

She always smiles when she is around her and she always confidently says that her mother is a strong woman.

Although Ella knew that being strong did not mean one would not shed tears a little, she forgot all about it.

Not only was she so concerned, she suspected that her father had a hand in what was going on but he was quiet about everything.

There had been a time when her father had to go on one of those wars and left them for several months.

Other pack members were scared that he was already dead since they heard no word from him but her mother never lost faith.

She was even the one consoling others around and reassuring them that her husband and Alpha was not dead yet.

Whenever she got a chance to, Lisa ensured that she encouraged them and reminded them that he was going to come back and he did.

The amount of faith her mother had in their father and the moon goddess marveled Ella so much and increased her respect for her.

This made her love for her also grow more and deeply that those who saw them around thought they were sisters.

Whatever the case might be right now, it was a big one and she saw no reason why her father would downplay it.

Maybe it was all because of her he was trying too hard to avert discussing the topic and it was obvious her mom was hurt.
