Minotaur Guardian / Seeing The Boss Monster

There was nothing else he could do to get ready, so he started playing the song he had decided on and charged at the enemy.

The song that he put on was 'What's The Worst That Could Happen Creating A Charizard?' by ONI INC, 7xvn and Depths of Titan. (It's on Spotify, so listen to it if you want to.)

As soon as the music started playing, a warm feeling enveloped his arms as they turned into scaled dragon-like claws. They were larger than his regular hands, and felt stronger as well which was increased by his strength growing due to listening to music.

The minotaur guardian noticed that Verce was charging at it, and readied itself for battle. It was not new to people attempting to fight it, as it was the guardian to the boss room of the dungeon. Due to this, it had quite a lot of combat experience and was able to fight quite skilfully.

As Verce came close enough to be able to attack the minotaur, it pulled its axe back and swung it towards him. Verce dodged this attack by jumping over it and landed on the top part of the massive axe.

He ran up the handle of the axe in a few steps and leaped forward at the minotaur's head. It attempted to swipe him away, but Verce was moving too quickly, and he landed an attack on the minotaur. He used one of his dragon claws to create a huge gash in the right side of the minotaur's face.

Sensing that it was in danger, the enemy did something strange. Its body went slightly more grey, and its left arm which was not holding the axe was absorbed into itself. After this happened, a red aura surrounded it, and Verce assumed this was the sacrifice skill which it possessed.

However, despite the increase in stats that the enemy had, Verce still had the upper hand as his enemy was weakened due to losing an arm and having an injured face. He attacked again, and punched a hole in the minotaur's chest and his entire claw went through to the other side. The minotaur guardian was now on the ground spitting out blood, and it attempted to headbutt Verce.

In response to this, Verce grabbed the minotaur's head and twisted it with a large amount of force. This resulted in the head being ripped completely off of its body and Verce winning the battle.

As the guardian to the door had been defeated, Verce could now go into the boss room and more than likely take down the monster that would allow him to exit the dungeon.

He checked his status after defeating the guardian, to see how much he had grown.

Strengthened By The Music: While listening to music, you will become stronger by a large amount. Skills may also be temporarily gained while listening to music, these may depend on the type of music being listened to, or the emotions you are feeling while listening to it.

Human Speaker: Able to play any song that you know through your entire body at any volume that you desire.

Sound Wave: While playing music, can control the sound waves created by said music in varying ways.

Music Dimension: Able to create a space which the user can take a single other person. This can be used for many purposes which depend on the type of music played in the dimension, as the music will be played throughout the entire space to be heard by all inside.

Music Illusion: When enemies weaker than you hear a song played by you while this skill is being used, they will have an illusion which is dependent on what type of music is being played.

A Bard's Rage: After taking a substantial amount of damage while in combat, as long as you are listening to music, all of your stats and skills will become immensely more powerful in return for your sanity being taken over by rage until the song is over. You will also be healed of all injuries after this effect ends.

Demon King's Left Eye: To replace your lost left eye, a new and better one has taken its place. This eye can view the status of monsters and people alike. It is also able to see things which are normally hidden to regular vision, such as living being's energies and emotions among many other things. This eye will also allow you to see in the dark, as well as allowing you to see faults in enemies movements.

Demon King's Right Hand: To replace your lost right hand, a new and better one has taken its place. This hand can make those weaker than you, in terms of levels and stats, bow down to you, and follow your orders if you wish for them to. If an enemy is stronger than you, in terms of level and stats, then you must first defeat them in a fight, break their will, and make them bow down to you with your own power.

Demon King's Stat Enhancement: Every level you gain, your stat point increase will quadruple. Applies to any stats previously gained. (20 Points Per Level)

Demon King's Regeneration: Your natural level of healing increases by 20X. After every level you gain, your body will return to peak condition.

Once again, he was happy with his status increase and was glad to see he had a new skill which would help him have a higher chance of staying alive while fighting high level enemies and hordes of enemies.

He rested for a few minutes before deciding on the song he would listen to in the boss room, and then opening the door as the song started.

This song was 'No Superstition' by ONI INC, Lord Distortion and Lil Tytan (On Spotify, listen for immersion, or don't.)

The effects alongside his increased strength were very obvious, as his body went completely invisible and he could only tell where he was because of it being his own body.

This was a very good thing, as the boss monster was staring directly at the entrance of the door, and more than likely would have attacked Verce if it had seen him.

This monster was also a minotaur, except it had four arms instead of two, and was a dark red colour instead of the usual brown. Verce checked the monster's status to see what he would be fighting against.

After witnessing the stats of this boss monster, only one thought went through Verce's mind, 'Shit.'
