"Haha, you fucking trash! You think getting fit will make you better!" A girl said as she kicked hideo in the face while he was being held down.

"Why is it me?!" Hideo said angrily as he struggle to break free from their hold.

"Because, its fun! Hahahaha" the girl laughed maniacally as she steps on his head.

Hideo gritted his teeth as he look at her angrily.

"Hahaha! Look at me that way more!" The girl said while she looks at hideo with a grin.

'Shiori! I swear I will make you my slave!' Hideo sweared inside his mind as the two guy who is holding him down started beating him up.

"Once a fat ass always a fat ass! Hahahaha!" The two guys laughed at hideo.

"Haah! Haah! Haah!" Hideo breathed heavily as he woke up from his nightmare.

"Sorry, host the system got a problem and I needed to look through your memory!"

'What happened?' Hideo asks as he held his head in pain.

"Some bastard went inside your mind and was corrupting it, if I didn't stop it you would have died" the system answered hideo, making him feel his back sweat.

'What bastard are you talking about? Who is it?' Hideo ask hurriedly.

"Don't worry about it"

'No I will worry about it! Tell me!'

The system sighed then said "it is basically a virus that comes inside your mind, since you have a system inside your mind, it is inevitable!"

'Do they become stronger?' Hideo asks as this type of viruses always gets stronger with time.

"You just need to do your tasks and I will take care of it!"

'Okay, I got it!' Hideo answered in understanding.

He looks outside and noticed that his eyesight had gone bad as before he would be able to see pretty far.

'What is with my eye sight?'

"It will turn back to normal soon just bear with it"

'Okay!'

Hideo went back to bed and look at maya then kissed her on the cheek. As if feeling his lips she smiled.

Hideo went back to sleep

Morning came, hideo went outside with maya while she rest her head on him while holding his arm.

Hideo came inside the bus, then went outside after picking up the attendance sheet.

He waited for the students as he checks their attendance.

"Good morning hideo-kun!" Maki greeted hideo while she waves her hand.

"Un" hideo nodded then checked her attendance.

Putting her hands down she went inside the bus, then put her baggage inside. She went outside to check the attendance with hideo.

"Why are you here?" Hideo asks nonchalantly.

"S-sorry, I'm here to check the attendance with you!" She said as she stood beside him.

"You don't need to, go back now" hideo said as he checks the students attendance.

"Yosh, that's all the students!"

"Sensei, I checked it all!" Hideo yelled then gave the attendance sheet back to the teacher.

"Hmmm, it seems like everyone is on time! Since it's the last day of the competition. Good job hideo!" The teacher said then gave him a thumbs up.

"Then I will excuse myself!"

Hideo went back to his sit after bowing down to the teacher as a way to respect the teacher.

Maki looks at hideo as she try to say something. But stopped as she clutch her chest.

Maya smiled then rest her head onto hideo while smiling. Hideo caressed her cheek, making her giggle.

"I love you! Hideo kun!" Maya whispered then kissed hideo on the cheek.

"I love you too!" Hideo said with a smile. Some students look at them with envy while some guys grits their teeth from anger.

Hearing what hideo said maki looks down as she held back her tears.

"Are you okay?" Noticing maki's behavior satoshi ask her, worried about her.

"I-I'm okay!"

"I'm glad! Just tell me if you are feeling unwell, okay?" He said then puts his hand on her hand.

Maki nodded

Time passed by they got to their destination.

Hideo went to his maintenance room and set up his things.

Since, the first match of the day is 'ice pillar break' hideo didn't have to work on anything.

He went outside to watch the match.

Maya was standing as she gets ready to attack her opponent. As soon as the match started she activated her magic.

Maya grinned as multiple rocks crush onto the ice pillars of the opponent, leaving the opponent shake in fear as she looks at maya.

'This is way too easy for her to win...' hideo said in his mind.

He went down and met up with maya.

"Good job maya!"

Maya nodded then smiled as she hugs hideo.

Hideo went back to his work room, he was staring at the person in front of him

"Come here, I'm gonna do some work on your cad" hideo said as he reach out his hands towards her.

Hideo then started working as he smoothens the sequences of her cad.

"There, you might be able to use your magic more efficiently, but don't forget to not let your guard down" hideo said as he gave her the cad.

"Y-yes! Thank you!" She said then left the room.

Hideo went outside to watch how she will do as he found it entertaining to watch the match.

He watch her as she distracts them by hitting the water with her magic. Making her win the match.

"I'm gonna go now"

"Yeah, do your best!" Maya said then started to talk with miya and kouichi.

"Hey, maya that flying technique that he made, can I try it?" Kouichi asks maya as he was curious about it.

"Sure!"

Miya looks at hideo left with a side glance while she talks to kouichi and maya.

Hideo went to the student council room as he wants to ask them something.

"Why are you here?" Reo asks hideo as he looks at him angrily. He felt angry as if not for hideo's skill they would probably have lost already.

"I'm just here to ask if you are gonna win the last match!" Hideo asks them as the score is pretty close if they lose this match. Theres no chance of winning...

"Well, we don't need your help!" A guy said angrily after listening to hideo's words.

"Yeah! We don't need your help! Don't look down on us!"

"Is that so?" Hideo shrugged then left as he doesn't really care id they win or lose.

The next day, hideo went to his room to engineer for the team. After that he went back to student council office.

Hideo look at maki who is just looking down. He asks if they really not need any help. Hideo is pretty anxious as if they lose the yotsuba's might do something to maya and miya for losing.

"We don't need any!" They said angrily as they prepare their cad's.

"If you really don't need any that's fine. I'm just gonna watch from the side, but Don't beg me or bother me to help the team again as I will clean up the room that I used"

Hideo went back to his room and started to put his things to his inventory.

After cleaning for a while hideo went back to maya's place and sat next to her.

"Why are you back so quickly?" She asks hideo

"I was just checking if the male students needed help it seems like they didn't need any..."

"Are they alright? I could understand kouichi and miya not needing any help on their cad"

"Well, they seem to held a high pride that they will win. I hope they do win as your family might give you two a hard time" hideo said as the yotsuba family might do something to maya and miya.

"I'm sure it's okay, since we performed well and we didn't lose to anyone"

"I guess..." hideo shrugged then started to watch the match as it's about to start.

A/n: the monolith code is a men's only game. at the competition site, called "stage. They will use magic go fight over the "monolith" with each three players. The outcome is detemined by splitting the monolith in the enemy encampment and transmitting a concealed code. Attacks other than magic is forbidden. Breaking the monolith requires that it be struck with a special non systematic magic.

The enemy team tried to defend the code as the new students tried to go for it.

"They're not doing bad..." hideo muttered as he watch them break a monolith.

"But if hideo kun went out there and compete you would be able to do it much faster"

"Well, if me and hideo were to compete it won't be a match anymore" kouichi said arrogantly.

Miya looks at hideo and nodded as she knew hideo's strength.

They continued watching until the end. Soon people started to celebrate for winning the first match.

"I'm glad they won"

"That was a close call!"

People around hideo said cheerfully. Soon other schools started to have their matches, hideo watched intently as he found the match interesting.

'I think we will lose if they keep this up' hideo thought as he watched the other school perform greatly.

Soon, the event ended, hideo went back to the hotel by bus with maya and the other students. Since, kouichi and miya is on a seperate bus they were not able to meet in the bus.

Hideo went back to his room, while maya went to her own room.

After taking a bath he met kouichi.

"What's up?" Hideo asks kouichi as he looks at his face that is pretty sad.

"I feel like miya is not interested on me. She might be going with me just because we are in the same class and childhood friend..." kouichi suddenly said hideo was pretty shocked as he thought miya liked kouichi

"Why do you think that?"

"It's just that she won't spend time with me alone. When we get back to the hotel she would just play with the other girls. I didn't want to bother your lonely time with maya here in the hotel, so I was pretty lonely in my room for the past days" Kouichi said as he look down.

"It's okay, wanna play cards with me and maya?" Hideo asks as he wants to cheer him up.

Kouichi nodded then followed hideo.

They went inside maya's room after knocking.

They started to play happily while they compete with each other.

The next day, hideo watch the match goes on. He sighed as he watched the third school completely annihilating their opponent.

"Hideo, do you think they will win?" Kouichi asks him.

"To be honest I think we will lose" hideo answered honestly.

Hideo went to the cafeteria and bought some food for maya and the others. He went back with food on his hand.

"Let's eat!" Hideo said as they started to eat while watching the match.

The next day, hideo checked the attendance as usual. Hideo sat back and watch as the match still goes on.

Hideo sighed as he watch their team barely winning again while the third school was winning without breaking a sweat.

In a room, the student councils are talking to wach other about plans.

"Why don't we just asks hideo for help?" Maki suggested

"No! We can't throw our pride just like that!" Reo retaliated

"But if we don't, we will lose for sure!" Maki said

"Hey, I've been meaning to ask you, ever since you beg hideo to help the team, you have been acting strange. Tell me did something happen between the two of you? If not why are you suddenly so kind to him?" Reo asks as he has been wondering why maki has been kind to hideo unlike the last time.

"I-I was just being kind to him so we can use him!" Maki explained, making up excuses for her weird behavior.

"Well, why do I have the feeling that your body became more mature?" Aki asks her as she was suspicious of maki. ever since then maki has been releasing a sort of mature woman appeal to her.

"You're looking into it too much" maki said as she felt a chill run down her back.

"Is that so?"

"Anyways, we won't asks him for help!" Reo said angrily.

Maki nodded then sat down.

The next day, is the day of final match. Hideo pretty much conclude that they will lose.

Hideo watch the match, he saw his team trying to sneak attack while using explosions to make the surrounding hard to see.

"Smart, but it won't matter if you're not fast" hideo muttered then saw that the surrounding cleared up, the enemy team hit the guy with magic making him faint.

Hideo sighed as he watch one guy get taken down.

Soon the camera switched to another guy. This time he used some sort of platform to float up as he decipher the code of monolith, but failed as he fell down from the platform. As someone from the third school use magic towards him.

'It seems like the third school students read their plans....' hideo thought then soon the match ended with their team losing.

"Nooo!" People started to shout as they lost while the opposing school cheered up.

Soon, third school was announced as the champion while they just got second place. Hideo's name was in the screen of every event that they won at except for miya and kouichi's match.

Suddenly, a guy came up to hideo.

"Why aren't you the engineer for the last match?"

Hideo looks at the guy, seeing his red uniform he knew he was from the third school.

"Well, the student council couldn't throw their pride away" hideo answered.

"Heh, is that so? I thought I would be able to experience your inventions apparently not"

"Well, sorry about that" hideo answered.

"I gotta go now, let me try the flight magic if you can!" The guy said

'Dumbass, how are we gonna meet if I don't know your name...' hideo thought as the guy didn't even introduced himself.

After a week, hideo's invention of flight magic was known through out the world. Hideo was invited by a lot of famous laboratory including the yotsuba family. He declined everyone except for the yotsuba. As of now he is getting ready to go to maya's house.

"Oh! Hideo! I can't believe you would be able to make that kind of magic!" Hideo was greeted by genzou in front of the door.

Hideo laughed awkwardly as he saw genzou's cheerful face.

Genzou has a pretty good impression of hideo, he really wanted maya to marry hideo, but since hideo's background and him being pretty mediocre towards magic made it hard to marry maya off to him. Hideo might be good at real time battle and knowledgeable, he can't beat someone who has a natural talent later on.

The yotsubas want a blood from a person that has good magical prowess to be able to make their bloodline more powerful.

"So, are you gonna start proving that you are the best magician?" Genzou whispered to hideo as he doesn't want maya to hear what he say as maya might start asking him questions like 'why would he need to prove himself' making the secret of maya not being hideo's fiancée at the moment known by her.

"I will and in a grand way that is" hideo whispered as he is planning to raid the dahan's in a few months after completing his preparation.

"I can't wait for that... come follow me we have some business to talk about!" Genzou said in a serious voice

They went inside a room and hideo was met with four elderly looking people sitting down while looking at hideo as if analyzing him.

"Sit down" Genzou said as he gestured hideo to sit down. Hideo sat down

"Ahem! So... we want to buy your invention to be mass produced by us. We are gonna give this to you and the ownership of the flight magic will be on the yotsuba" the old man said

He looks at the money he will receive.

"Sorry, I might respect you and I want to marry your grand daughter, but I have my own company that I am making and I'm planning to expand it" hideo explained, making them silent. Hideo doesn't want to sell it to them as they might become more stronger then ever.

Hideo might like genzou, but he doesn't want to sell something that he researched on. Even though he watched tatsuya make it in the anime, he doesn't have any idea how to make it.

"Is there anything you want other than money?"

"Well, I want to marry maya if you will allow it I will willingly give it to the yotsuba's for free" hideo said then sips a tea in the cup.

"Sorry, but that is impossible!" The old man said then continued "you know that you are still a incapable trash and your magic is pretty mediocre! Im sure you know that!"

"Is that so? Then we don't have anything to talk about as I don't need anything other than a consent to marry maya" hideo said then walk towards the room he opened it then suddenly he heard the old man yelling.

"Fucking disrespectful!" The old man said angrily. Genzou looks at the old man and tried to calm him down, but he was too late as he hit hideo with his magic.

Hideo flew back as he was hit with a fire magic. Hideo wiped his mouth as blood drips down of it. he didn't expect the old man to get angry at him for not selling his flight magic.

"if you did not save our maya, I would have killed you already!" The old man said as he walk towards hideo.

'What did I do?' Hideo thought as all he did was not sell the flight magic.

"Tch! Just because you're maya's grandfather don't get ahead of yourself" hideo muttered as he felt pissed off. He pulled out his katana and used his body control on the old man.

Feeling hideo's killing intent the old man shivered for a bit.

"Hmph! You thought you can control me!" He said angrily as he resisted hideo's body control.

'Fucking old man' hideo said then put his sword back to his inventory. Genzou watch hideo with surprise as he saw him pull his weapon out of nowhere.

Hideo went to the door to get out of the house then met maya that has a worried look

"What happened to you?" She asks hideo as she saw his injury.

"It's nothing" hideo said as he smile towards her.

'Sorry hideo, this is the only way' genzou thought as he looks at hideo's tattered up clothes.

"Is that true?" Maya asks as she looks at genzou with anger. Making him shiver as he thought of maya hating him.

"It's okay" hideo said then walked passed her.

Hideo went back to his laboratory then started to work even harder

After hideo left the old man sighed then went back to the room.

"Dad! What happened to hideo!" She yelled angrily.
