Chapter three.

"Ouch!" The doctor moaned in pain, the girl lacked malnutrition but the fist that had landed on his nose, stated otherwise, he was furiously rubbing his nose ready to drop curse words at her, "you..." Before he could finish what he wanted to say, Mary elbowed him and signaled him.

Cassie on the other hand, did not care, she was deep in her mind communicating with her spiritual sword, "Spera, who was that?" 

Spera was her spiritual sword, which meant they were connected, so all she had seen in her dreams Spera had seen it too, "Master, I think that is the original owners memories," it concluded.

"She really had a pitiful life," 

"Master, even though you became a goddess at a young age, you were not better than her," Spera blatantly said. "So there is no need to pity someone else, both of your lives were the same, except you had loving parents while she had stupid parents. But both of your love lives and death ended tragically."

"You don't need to remind me of a poor choice we make when we are in love with stupid people,"

"Cassie, Cassie," 

A voice brought her back from her thoughts, she looked at the doctor who was rubbing his nose, and the nurse who was trembling and then at the man whose face was a few inches from her. "You have zoned out for three minutes, are you okay?"

Cassie was at a loss of words, that face was so beautifully shaped that she had forgotten the question. "Master, master? Stop acting stupid!"

"I...I am sorry, what did you say?" Cassie shook her head, trying to gain back her senses, she pushed the man's face away, "can you move back a little, or else you will drive me insane."

Mary and John, turned to look at the man whose face was being pushed away to see his reaction, but there was none. He was neither angry, disgusted nor agitated.

The man just stood up straight with his hands in his pockets, "are you okay? Do you need something to eat?"

She did not deny, and nodded vigorously. Cassie felt like she really needed to eat, she had even forgotten what food tastes like. Zeke dismissed Mary and John then he went back to seat at the couch and dialed a number.

Once the call went through and the other end picked up, he said, "bring some light food in the hospital and also bring my food here," he went silent for a while as if listening to the other end, "I had already set an order at the villa, you can also bring the documents here." After he was done, he took out his laptop and started working.

"What is that?" Cassie asked Spera.

"Master, I am also new in this realm. I have roamed around for long trying to find a suitable body for you, but since I landed in this realm, I haven't gone that far."

Without thinking twice, she stood up started walking towards the handsome and mysterious man, until, "ouch!" she felt an excruciating from where the infusion needle was connected to her veins.

"What are you doing?" The man who was at the couch, was now beside her, trying to guide her back to bed, "go back to bed," his voice was commanding and irrefutable that anyone could tremble except Cassie.

She was that kind of person who must what she wants and now the only thing in her mind, was to see that strange gadget, she pointed at the direction, "but I want to see that thing!" 

Zeke followed the directions where she was pointing only to see his laptop, "what, the laptop."

Not knowing the name of the thing, she continued pointing at it, although she has seen it in the former's memories, she has not seen it personally. Zeke took three steps to the table and held the laptop, "this?" He asked, and only after seeing her nod, he could not help but ask, "have you never seen a laptop before?"

She was about to nod, but she remembered that, her spirit is new to this realm, but the body belongs to this place and so it would be odd if she said no, "I mean, I only see people using it but I have not tried it before."

"Do you want me to teach you how to use it?"
