what!! she shouted her lips trembling and her fist clenched tightly by her side.'All this can't be real' she tried convincing herself .Her parents sat on the sofa watching her reaction as her mother sob quietly and her father bow his head to hide his pain.

"so...you mean I'm not your daughter "this time she spoke softly her face was pale and her eyes bloodshot but she couldn't cry. she heaved deeply and stared at her parents with different emotions."Adira we..we are so sorry" Mrs carson broke down in tears while being hugged by her husband. Adira let out a snort her expression was filled with pain anger and most of all sadness."so, why didn't you tell me all this while do you think by keeping it away from me it was ok or did you think you were running a charity " her emotions were getting the best of her. who wouldn't break down after finding out the people who you loved and called your parents aren't actually yours it was depressing and agonising to her not because she was maltreated or regrets being their daughter but because she feels left out now.

"Adira you have every right to be angry at us but one thing i would not allow is you questioning our sincerity and care for you, ever since we took you in we have showered you with nothing but love. not telling was wat we thought we protect you from this harsh reality". Mr carson said already getting agitated as his precious wife won't stop crying. Adira felt bad but the anger and sadness she felt overwhelmed it she laughs maniacally "so, why qre you telling me now are you tired of training me or are you going to abandon me like my parents did" she felt weird saying things like that to her parents but she has a lot of questions in her mind.'who was she', 'how does her parents look like', 'did they really abandon her'.

"no no adira your parents didn't abandon you. i...i didn't really know your mother i just saw her picture once"Mrs carson said again after she has stopped crying but she look so haggard that it hurts adira but she was also frustrated with all that was happening. never imagining a day like would come adira felt so weak she leaned on the closest thing to her which is the sofa."so...so you..you don't know my par..ents"her words were incoherent due to her sobbing and being shocked from all these informations. "no my sister was a bestfriend to your mother she was the one that brought you to me i don't actually know what happened but on the day she brought you she looked so afraid and scared i didn't think about it too much. i asked of your mother but she said she couldn't say much but she asked me to protect you.two laters she was found dead with her husband and her apartment burned down"this time Mrs carson broke down in tears again as she remembers her dead sister

"nobody really knew what happened the investigation said it was a burnt socket and autopsy said she and her husband died because of the inhaled smoke but i know than to believe i know my sister was murdered and that it was being covered up i became scared so i and your dad decided to run away . I'm sorry i didn't investigate further I'm so so sorry i was a coward but then i and your father weren't this influential " pain and helplessness was etched on her face. her brows were furrowed and her eyes were bloodshot.
