After giving his tattoo another good once over, Reed heads in for a shower and shave, and since the ships environment is controlled, he goes in for a t-shirt and shorts, then went to the living room. As the door to his room shuts, he sees Teresa finish making breakfast, and as she puts down the last plate, she turns to him to welcome him to breakfast in her usual special way when she just stopped and stares and you can get that platinum dragons egg he got on the rank 3 planet into her mouth considering how wide her mouth is at this time. But in any case, he is happy with that surprised look she is giving him and just walks to his spot at the table and starts eating as she continues to stare at him.

After Reed takes a few bites of his breakfast, Teresa comes back to herself and rushes back into the kitchen and, a minute later, comes back with a bowl of nourishing soup. Reed doesn't know why the person who invented the soup didn't name it after themselves or their dragon at the least. Even Teresa had a few taunts to throw at Reed when he gave her the recipe, and just threw out the name of course, Teresa wanted to name it Dragon power soup obviously Reed just gave her a look it is well known that Teresa's naming sense is terrible.

Teresa puts the bowl of soup beside Reeds' dishes and says happily, "Soup's on." And then goes to her seat Reeds dragon yawns, then jumps and glides down to the table and sniffs the soup. After that first sniff, she shoved her face into the soup, and all you could hear after was a long and loud slurping noise. Ya, all dragons love that soup. Even adult dragons will slurp it down.

After breakfast came the hardest part of all trying to find something to do without destroying the ship. Such a devastatingly hard assignment, but Reed managed to keep everyone occupied with a game he used to play with his dragon in the past.

As the days flew by, they came closer and closer to home. Also, when Reeds dad got a look at him, he laughed himself hoarse. Well, to be fair, Reed did look like a walking testament of what a gang banger would look like, and Crystal was impressed. However, Reeds uncle was even more angry when he saw Reed.

After another 2 weeks, they finally made it back home. However, a large number of people finally succumbed to the dragon slayer sickness, including Reeds uncle, so the ships had to land on the planet just to let them off and there dragons had to be carted off cause they all fell into a deep sleep that they will never wake from.

Reed headed home with Teresa, but Reeds' father stayed behind as it was his duty to make sure everyone got home, even his brother. However, he warned Reed to stay away from the patriarch until he got home, knowing his brother would go straight to the patriarch to blame him and probably Reed as well for what happened to him.

As Reed and Teresa get home, the servants tell them that Reeds sisters and mother went shopping and won't be back for some time, so Reed heads to his room and shows his dragon around his set of rooms as he checked current events on the extranet huh Reed thinks the emperor has called a meeting of the nobles and it looks like it will start in 2 days.

As Reed gets reacquainted with current events, Reeds Uncle beelines it to the patriarchs mansion.

"Patriarch, I've been wronged."

"Fernando, my boy, what happened? If it's within my power, I'll have it all dealt with immediately."

"Patriarch, I've been diagnosed with dragon slayer sickness, and my poor son Estinion was killed all because of Martin and his son."

The patriarch looked stunned for a second, and then his face suffused with anger and hate. Then, he closed his eyes and took a minute to think deeply. The meeting of nobles will happen in 2 days. Reed just shakes his head at them cause he remembers there almost daily verbal attacks in his last life, but he knows deep down they were just worried about the family as a whole because even though they were harsh they were the first to stand with him when he started his alchemy training in his last life.

A little later, when Reeds father came home, he was exasperated as well as a little angry. Apparently, he reported to the patriarch of everyone's return and got reamed out about not taking care of his brother well enough. Like he can do anything with that moron as he doesn't listen to a word he says and even attacks him at every turn. As he returns home, he sees his family having a good time talking and laughing together and decides to leave all that for later and be together with them for the rest of the day.
