Desperation clouded Han Ziyi's eyes as she unbuttoned her clothes, exposing herself in front of Horn. "I'll do anything," she pleaded, her voice trembling. "Even if you treat me like an animal, just let me live."
Tears streamed down her face as she tried to cling to Horn's leg. But before she could reach him, two figures moved in unison.
Lin Zixuan and Jiang Wan appeared beside her in an instant. With a flick of Jiang Wan's arm, there was a sharp crack—a burst of energy struck Han Ziyi's face, leaving a splatter of blood in its wake.
"Shameless wench," Jiang Wan spat coldly. "You dare to seduce Brother Horn? Look at yourself—pathetic and revolting."
Lin Zixuan's gaze was ice-cold. She and Horn had already shared their most intimate moments—he was her man. Han Ziyi had overstepped her bounds by trying to seduce him in front of her.
Han Ziyi tried to speak, but Lin Zixuan didn't give her the chance. With a swift, forceful palm strike, Lin Zixuan unleashed a destructive force that shattered Han Ziyi's head.
The air was stained bright red, the grisly sight eerily beautiful.
As Tang Yuxin approached, Lin Zixuan felt a pang of guilt. "Yuxin, I've dealt with her for you," she said.
Tang Yuxin, unaware of the intimacy between Horn and Lin Zixuan, responded gratefully. "Thank you, Dean Lin."
Horn glanced at Lin Zixuan, seeing through her act. She hadn't killed Han Ziyi for Tang Yuxin's sake—she was venting her own anger.
Mr. Wei let out a heavy sigh. "Senior Su, it seems our situation is worsening."
"Han Qingshan and Han Ziyi's deaths in Linzhou won't go unnoticed. The Immortal Martial Academy will blame us, and they won't rest until they've exacted revenge."
He paused, then asked cautiously, "Senior Su, are you in the early stage of the Heavenly Star Realm?"
The Heavenly Star Realm, from the early stage to Dzogchen, was divided into various levels of mastery. Tang Yuxin's eyes shone with admiration, unable to fathom a Heavenly Star Realm cultivator's power.
Lin Zixuan, Jiang Wan, and the others looked at Horn with anticipation.
"You could say that," Horn replied casually.
He had once revealed the truth about his power, but no one believed him. Now, he preferred to brush off such questions. Time would reveal his true strength.
Seeing Horn confirm his level, Mr. Wei and the others gasped in awe.
Wang Menglu muttered, "Horn, you're not human! Reaching the Heavenly Star Realm at twenty-one? How can anyone compete with that?"
"This is the Heavenly Star Realm!" she continued, disbelief coloring her voice. "My ancestor is only in the Sky Control Realm."
Lu Lin clenched his fists in excitement, admiration evident in his eyes. "Brother Su, please guide me in my practice in the future."
Horn nodded calmly, then turned to Mr. Wei and Mr. Qiao. "If the Immortal Martial Academy seeks revenge, I'll be ready. Don't worry. As long as I'm here, you're under my protection."
He then looked at Lin Zixuan. "While you're at the academy, count how many are willing to stay."
Lin Zixuan glared at Horn, unused to taking orders, but despite her dissatisfaction, she obeyed.
"Dean Lin, we'll help with the count," Tang Yuxin, Wang Menglu, and Lu Lin offered, standing up to assist. Their involvement would speed up the process.
"I'm the vice president of the new academy, so I can't be idle," Jiang Wan added, following Lin Zixuan.
Over an hour later, Lin Zixuan and the others returned with the results.
"Only two hundred students are willing to stay," Lin Zixuan reported. "None of the teachers have agreed to remain."
Although some teachers admired Lin Zixuan, they bowed to reality. Expelled from the Ministry of Talents, Lin Zixuan's new academy had no future—merely a "pheasant academy" with no prospects.
Horn nodded. "Numbers don't matter. Two hundred students are enough."
"Don't the top five schools always compete for spots in the Earthly and Heavenly Rankings? I want these two hundred students to dominate those rankings. The Earthly and Heavenly Rankings will no longer belong to the top five schools."
"But only students from the top five prestigious schools can compete in those rankings," Lu Lin pointed out, concerned.
Horn smiled. "The Immortal Martial Academy has already suffered losses at our hands. Now, with their vice dean dead, they'll likely push for our participation in those rankings—just to publicly humiliate us."
"Not only that," Horn continued, "the last ranking battles just ended. If our academy participates, the Immortal Martial Academy will undoubtedly advance the next battles to crush us."
"Tianhai Immortal Martial Academy will also play a part," he added, "because one of their former vice presidents is now our vice president. Those 'high and mighty' types love forcing the defiant to bow."
Mr. Wei, Mr. Qiao, and the others agreed with Horn's assessment. If their academy could dominate both rankings, the victory would be monumental.
Lin Zixuan pursed her lips. "What will you name the new academy?"
After a moment of thought, Horn replied, "Immortality Academy."
"Immortality Academy," Mr. Wei repeated with a smile. "A fitting name!"
"Linzhou's crisis was resolved thanks to Senior Su Changsheng. Naming the new academy Immortality Academy shows our respect for him."
Mr. Qiao turned to Horn. "Senior Su, you're so thoughtful. You share the same last name as Su Changsheng. With time, your strength and cultivation will surely surpass his."
At the mention of Su Changsheng, everyone's eyes lit up with admiration—everyone except Horn, who remained indifferent.
Was all this reverence really necessary?
It seemed Horn would have to conceal his true identity for a while longer, just to avoid being worshipped daily.
