Remote Village to Strongest Nation

Blanc Rougenfort, a passionate lover of knowledge, grew up as the son of a maid serving a Count's family in the kingdom of Lockridge. Unfortunately, their peaceful life was disrupted when a rebellion broke out and the forces of the Count, who Blanc and his mother were serving, were completely destroyed. The Count entrusted Blanc with the task of escaping the country with his daughters and starting anew. However, Blanc was not content with just that. He made a vow to establish his own army, seek revenge for the Count's family, and ensure that the world is safe for those dear to him.

Beast core and Prime meat

Morning came, Blanc and Helena overslept.

The two went at it for 4 more rounds after their first one.

It was like a whole new world opened up for the two of them after their first "roleplay" so they got carried away and tried other things after their "young master and servant" themed intercourse.

"Ahhh yesterday night felt so good. My "young master Blanc" bullied me so much!" Helena teased.

"You now have the confidence to tease me? you lowly one?" Blanc chuckled as he teased her back.

They had things to do though so they had to get out of their comfy bed. The two of them wore their clothes and started to talk about official business.

The two had a laugh for a bit before continuing on to more serious matters.

"Moving on, how's your trip this time?" Blanc inquired.

"The mushroom cave gave us a pleasant surprise. It seems like mushrooms just continue to grow everywhere around the cave. Even if we harvest a lot, more mushrooms will spawn in just a short amount of time." Helena replied.

"I see, that's indeed great news for us. What about the blue zone? Was there something of value around that area?" Blanc continued his inquiries.

"Oh! Yes! Actually, the gains there were far more than in the mushroom cave!" Helena said then she continued

"First of all we got a glowing bluish white crystal. Eden suspected that the crystal was Eternal Ice!"

"I knew it! This is great! Now our plans to sell our superior quality crops towards the surrounding kingdoms and fiefdoms can come to fruition!"

After seeing Blanc so happy, Helena couldn't help but smile.

Blanc's face is usually so stiff and he always looked like he was bored. An occasionally cute Blanc is a real treat to Helena's eyes.

"Not only that, we encountered a Yeti!"

"A what?!!?"

"A Yeti!"

"A...A Yeti?!"

"Yes...A yeti!"

"I see...It's good that you managed to escape!"

"We didn't escape! We fought that overgrown ape and defeated it!"

Helena said proudly.

"What?! I told you to prioritize your safety! How can you be so reckless with your life!"

Blanc couldn't help but get angry. Helena was too irresponsible with her life!

"D...don't get angry, we didn't expect the situation and in addition, we were cornered. The Yeti was blocking the entrance. A...also, we were lucky that it was alone so we managed to squeeze out a victory."

After remembering that she indeed almost lost her life this time, Helena explained her decisions apologetically.

"Haaaaaahhhh..Just promise me you will never do something reckless again."

"Yes, I promise I won't do it again."

Blanc couldn't resist Helena's depressed look. So he just sighed and let it go.

"You guys were really lucky this time, Yetis often travel in pairs. Maybe the one you fought was a young adult and was currently looking for a partner. In addition, you guys are still probably no match against a fully grown adult."

Helena also felt that the yeti they fought were quite immature as it was a bit too playful. It had a tendency to play with its food which gave her the chance to finish it off.

"Oh by the way, we tried butchering the yeti and we got some sort of spherical ball which was constantly releasing cold air from where its heart should be located. Also, we got some sort of high quality meat from the yeti's limbs."

"Beast core! and Yeti prime meat!"

Blanc was even more shocked after hearing that they were able to get their hands on a beast core.

These rare cores can usually only be found in higher tier kingdoms where the chambers of commerce have multiple branches.

These cores can be used to craft martial pellets and grow the physical strength of their warriors. If lucky, they can even awaken some sort of inner talent.

On the other hand, prime meat, although not as rare as beast cores, also serves to strengthen the physical abilities of those who consumed it. It enhances the physical aptitude of a warrior when consumed.

"As always, good work Helena. Sorry for always making you go through such difficult missions."

"Not at all! I also like going inside the Forest of Echoes because I can fight and get stronger there!"

"Thanks for understanding. You guys will likely be going back and forth most of the time inside the Forest of Echoes so please always prioritize your safety."

"Well then, I need to assemble an alchemy team so I'll go to the village kitchen first. Can you bring all of your loot there? We will be using those as materials.

"Sure!"

After the conversation about this time's expedition, the two went separate ways.

At the village kitchen.

"Albert, Charles, Marie, Isaac, Carl, we determined that the five of you have the capability to be an alchemist. Follow me to the alchemist workshop, I'll be teaching you guys how to brew potions and other magical elixirs.""

After hearing that they were chosen, the five teenagers celebrated inwardly and they enthusiastically followed Blanc towards the alchemist workshop.

Third chapter of the day~ Chapter 29 is out!
