Unexpected turn of events
Malek found himself awake one night. He looked to his side and saw Celeste sleeping peacefully beside him. He strangely didn't feel excited to see her. He remembers a time whenever he would see her and instantly want to shower her with love and spoil her. Now he was tired. He felt like he was entertaining her just because she was there.
He got out of bed and went to the balcony of the of his bedroom. Feeling the cool night air against his skin he leaned over the railing and looked at the palace garden ahead. He got lost in his thoughts.
It had been 2 months since Tanya left and Malek felt more and more at unease. Something was bothering him, but he didn't know what. It wasn't just about how annoying he found his father or Hardik's presence in the palace. There was something else that was bothering him.
