Making Friends
She didn't want to wait hoping Yaren would eventually come around and give her a chance. The situation had to be different this time around. She wouldn't allow Yaren to limit her experience as a court lady.
As she contemplated her situation for a while. The biggest mistake she realized she had made had made before was solely putting her mind on Malek and nowhere else. She thought of the time she spent with her family in the last three months it felt so good being able to spend time with them and feel supported by them. She didn't feel so alone despite the pain she was in.
The following day once Tanya returned to the department
"I see you still chose to stay her," he told Tanya condescendingly to which she frowned. She had no choice if she wanted to remain court lady.
