8. Only Billy Can See It

"Okay, then I will prepare everything after lunch, Doc," said Vanya who was getting ready to leave Billy's room because it was already lunchtime and break time, even though hospital staff like them didn't have a special break. especially when on duty.

But when Vanya was almost out of the room, Billy suddenly stopped him, "Eh, Vanya. Wait a minute. How about we have lunch together, think of this as a lubricant for us because after this we will be more busy taking care of that strange patient. How? Do you want it?" asked Billy. Since this was no longer discussing work, Billy went back to talking casually, because only with Vanya he could use slang like this, even though when he studied at the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, this kind of language had become his everyday language.

Vanya was stunned, like getting a sack of money that fell from the sky, Vanya was very happy. She couldn't even hold back a smile, because Billy had openly asked her out for lunch. But she still tried to be calm, she wore an ordinary expression, even though in her heart she couldn't help but want to fly and soar in the air.

"Okay, come on. Let's just go to the hospital canteen, "said Billy. Then the two of them walked hand in hand to the hospital cafeteria, that day Vanya managed to make many women jealous of him because he had lunch together with a doctor who was idolized by many.

Billy and Vanya also chatted casually while enjoying their lunch, both of them looked very enjoyed. Billy himself never felt that he had the highest position in this hospital even though that was the truth. Billy often chose to eat lunch in the hospital cafeteria rather than a fancy restaurant because he had to race against time.

"Yes, Doc. Come on," answered Vanya, still with an awkward expression.

"Prepare all the tools needed, we are doing an inspection now. I'll go first," said Billy as he left Vanya.

Without wasting any more time, Vanya immediately carried out Billy's orders, he prepared everything needed to carry out an X-Ray examination. Vanya went to a special room that is usually used to do a Thorax X-ray or a chest X-ray because the patient that Billy was treating must have had a heart problem.

Just when Vanya had prepared all the necessary equipment such as X-ray clothes and also checked the stability of all the tools to be used, Billy came to the room wearing his proud white coat with his hair that had just been rearranged sticking up. Vanya was amazed when she saw the young doctor's good looks.

"Vanya, is everything ready?" asked Billy while also checking the existing tools.

"Yes, Doc. Everything is in order," Vanya answered with a little nervousness.

"Okay, now please call the patient and her mother," Billy ordered.

"Okay, Doc," Vanya rushed out to call Rossa, she was grateful that she didn't have to linger alone in the room.

"Gosh, my heart must have burst for a moment because I can't stand Doctor Billy's handsome looks," Vanya muttered while patting her forehead.

She also arrived at Rossa's room because her room was not too far from the X-ray room, Vanya immediately entered after knocking on the door once.

"Vanya," said Risma.

"Yes, Miss," Vanya nodded her head respectfully.

"What is it?" asked Risma.

"So this is it, Mrs. My arrival here is to call you and Rossa on the orders of Doctor Billy because he will immediately conduct an initial examination of Rossa, "said Vanya.

"So the doctor who treated me was Doctor Billy?" Rosa also asked.

"Yes, that's right, Doctor Billy has received a direct mandate from Doctor Angga to accompany Miss Rossa until she recovers here," explained Vanya.

Rossa swallowed her saliva while exhaling heavily, she was already quite embarrassed by what had happened, now the doctor will be the one who will handle her while she is here.

"My goodness, it turns out that Doctor Billy was the one who was assigned directly by Doctor Angga to treat my illness. where do you want to put my face? I'm sure I'll be seeing Doctor Billy often," Rossa grumbled in her heart.

"Come on, Mrs and Miss Rossa, I will take you to the X-ray room because Doctor Billy is waiting there," said Vanya.

"Oh, yes. Come on, Ross. I don't like Doctor Billy, I'm afraid to wait too long," said Mrs. Risma as she led Rossa down from her bed.

"Let me help," Vanya also helped Rossa because as a nurse it was her duty.

They also took the elevator to go to the fifth floor because Rossa's room was on the seventh floor, but because they used the elevator it was close.

"Oh my… what if I see that doctor again? Surely I will be very ashamed of this, "Rosa groaned in her heart. She felt very restless and nervous since earlier because she was going to meet Billy for the second time, while her first impression was not so pleasant.

Vanya walked in the front as a guide, she took Rossa and her mother to the room she had previously prepared.

"Yes, I understand," answered Rossa. Rossa has been in the health sector for quite a long time, she also often helps patients who are going to do x-rays, so Rossa knows very well what she has to do.

One of the conditions that must be done by the patient before the X-ray is to remove all jewelry because clothing and jewelry can obscure the resulting image.

It didn't take long, Rossa immediately came out wearing that special dress. This isn't the first time Rossa has had x-rays, but what makes the difference is that the doctor who will examine her is not an ordinary doctor.

"Are you ready?" asked Billy.

"Yes, Doc," answered Vanya.

"Okay, I'll start putting in a pacemaker and a defibrillator," said Billy.

Since this must be done carefully, Billy will immediately put the medical equipment on Rossa's body. Billy will have a pacemaker installed and the defibrillator has a cable attached to the heart to ensure its beat and rhythm. Because a chest X-ray is done after placing the medical equipment to ensure its position is correct.

"I'm sorry, I first asked for permission to install these tools, I don't want to be accused of various kinds of things again," said Billy, emphasizing his last sentence. Moreover, the device to be installed was close to a restricted area for women, so Billy was worried that what happened this morning would repeat itself.

Billy did not answer again, he just looked at Rossa with a sharp gaze, then immediately carried out his duties as a doctor, Billy installed all the medical equipment needed to carry out this examination.

Then Rossa's body is positioned between the X-ray machine and the plate that produces the digital image. After that, Rossa was asked to move from one position to a different position to take pictures of the front and side of the chest.

Taking X-rays is usually painless. Likewise, with Rossa, she will not feel the sensation when the radiation passes through the body. If the patient has difficulty standing because his condition is severe enough, then Billy will suggest sitting or lying down.

"Okay, done, please take off all the equipment and tell her to change clothes, I will check the results of this x-ray," said Billy.

"Okay, Doc," Vanya nimbly did all the things Billy ordered earlier. Meanwhile, Mrs. Risma was still sitting, watching her son, who had just finished being examined.

The facilities at this hospital can no longer be doubted, therefore X-ray results can come out right away. Meanwhile, in other hospitals where the facilities are still lacking, X-ray results can only be known after a few days.

When Billy saw the X-ray, Billy's eyes widened because he found something odd there.

But Billy didn't answer, he was still stunned staring at the X-ray photo of Rossa's heart. Until Rossa finished changing, Billy was still in the same position.

Furious, Rossa ventured to pat Billy's hand which was on the table, "Doctor Billy!" cried Rosa.

"Yes, What is up?" Billy was surprised and a little confused.

"Please take this patient to his room first, because I have to discuss with another doctor first. So, please wait for the final result, Miss," explained Billy.

Vanya also brought Rossa and her mother back to Rossa's room while waiting for the results of the x-ray. Vanya was very curious about the results because it was unusual for Billy to have to ask another doctor's opinion first. Billy is a great doctor, he can analyze and diagnose patients' diseases based on X-ray results. But this time why should Billy need someone else's opinion?
