CHAPTER 22 : Alaric's bitter past

*** flash back ( Eons back

a young boy could be seeing playing with a young girl in a white dress, the boy was undoubtedly Alaric and the girl was his only friend dina.

" dina, your too slow " Alaric said as he escaped Dina's little hands.

" it's not fair, whenever I try to catch you, you do that stupid thing " dina whined as she slumped to the ground.

" you mean escape " Alaric chuckled as he corrected her.

" Alaric.... " a high pitched voice yelled, a woman with delicate skin, long brown hair and red eyes could be seeing swaying her hips here and there angrily.

" Alaric, its your mom, I mean mother dragon " the little girl whispered to Alaric.

" she not my mom " Alaric frowned in distaste.

" Alaric, I told you to stop playing with this stupid girl, why won't you do what I tell you, little brat " the woman spoke in disdain, feeling disgusted by her son playing with dina.

" good day my lady " dina greeted the woman who responded with a kick, dina was sent crashing into one of the pillars.

" dina.... " Alaric cried out as he ran to help her but was caught by the ear fiercely.

" and were do you think you are going, she should no her place, she is just a little peasant, a maid's daughter " the woman said as she drew Alaric's ear harder, blood could be seeing flowing down his neck as a huge wound opened up.

At that moment a few maids including Dina's mother ran out of were they were to the scene, Dina's mother who looks a lot like her ran to her daughter which was semi unconscious. " my lady, pls spare my daughter, she just a child, she doesn't know the rules , pls my lady I beg of you " the woman whom tears constantly ran down her face begged for mercy .

" I will for now, the next time your filthy daughter come close to my son again, well you wouldn't want to know right ? " Alaric's mother said while Dina's mom constantly nodded seeing there was hope for her Child not to be killed.

the lady dragged Alaric by the ear to a dark room with no hole for light to penetrate inside, this place was called the chamber of madness.

" now you little brat, you are going to stay here for two years without food nor water as your punishment " the woman said as she threw Alaric into the dark cold room and closed it.

BANG, BANG !!!!

" let me out, I want my father, let me out " Alaric cried and begged to be released.

" too bad you killed your dad, hahaha " the woman said while she laughed sweetly.

" your lying, I want uncle Nixon " Alaric continued banging on the door.

" I am not, you killed your father in the merger, your uncle is not here, you know he has a war to conquer " the woman said as she chuckled lightly.

" I hate you, you are not my mother, I hate you " Alaric said with all the pain and guilt he had locked away opened and waged on him { for a little boy, it was traumatizing }

" well I don't particularly like you in anyway so we are even " the woman said as she walked away with the keys in her hands.

little Alaric couldn't do anything but sit on the cold floor and softly cried as he relieved the pain of the merger were he had to be dominant against his own father, it was necessary because they could be only one ruler .

********* TWO YEARS LATER

" I demand to see my nephew " a man in a gold silk robe and gold hair demanded as the guard in front of him shuddered in fear.

" lord Nixon, what brings you here " a delicate voice could be heard, as a beautiful figure appeared in front of the man with clear annoyance.

" I want to see my nephew " the man said .

" alright " the lady said as she gestured for him to follow her, he did but when the path got deeper he started feeling uneasy.

" here we are " she said while she unlocked the heavy metallic door.

when the door open the man was stunned to see a little boy lying lifelessly on the ground, when the man got the familiar spiritual energy his eyes turned bloodshot, he turned swiftly and pressed the lady's against the door squeezing her neck.

" why would you do this " the man asked as a unbelievable amount of killing intent shrouded everywhere.

" h- he dis— disobeyed m--- " the lady wheezed out.

he let's go of her and returned his gaze at the little lifeless boy, his eyes softened that he almost looked like he would cry.

" he is my son,I have every right to do what I want " the lady said as she held her red neck in pain.

before she knew it she blacked out, the man had slapped her consciousness away. He picked the boy up and carried him away.

" where am I ? " a paled boy with barely any flesh on him said as he looked around the strange room.

" ha kid, your awake " a beautiful man entered the room with a bowl of medicine soup in his hands.

" u— uncle Nixon " the boy said as tears started to form in his eyes.

" don't cry, strong men shouldn't cry " the man said with a sad smile ' o brother, I have failed you, I promised to look after him but look at him now ' Nixon thought before he handed the bowl to Alaric.

Alaric immediately started gulping it down ,he hadn't eating nor drank any water for two years.

" how about I become your mentor " Nixon asked as Alaric eyes went wide with shock.

" really uncle, that would be great, I will become strong as you or maybe even stronger " Alaric said with a sweet smile on him.

and that his how the mentor and the disciple trained for years on till the mentor had to go for another war.

the man who never lost any war nor lost any comrade, was declared dead at his final battle, he won but sadly he and his fellow comrades lost their life.

{ clearly this isn't the real story of their death, there was a fowl play, because Nixon is now in a planet called earth and goes by the name Keegan }
