A Familiar Face III

"Where am I?" A familiar voice woke Obed who was dozing off.

He opened his eyes and found her sitting on the bed, staring at him with suspicious peach eyes. She still had a black robe covering her from neck to toe.

When Obed rescued her, he simply brought her here and let her rest.

"I… um… brought you here." Obed began stuttering all of a sudden.

"Why? What do you plan on doing to me?" She asked warily.

"The least you could've said was a 'thank you'. What's with the stupid question?" Obed grunted. He pointed at the room.

"After rescuing you from the men in black capes, I brought you here since I couldn't take you to where I stayed." Obed explained.

"Ahh! Wh… what happened to those bastards?" She seemed to remember them.

"Well, after you pleaded for help, I think you fainted. I knocked them out and when I picked you, you were out cold." Obed summarized and her cheeks flushed.
