Mana or Aura?

"Did we get robbed?"

Looking at the meeting room that was completely trashed, Arthur couldn't help but twitch his lips at what happened now had completely exceeded his expectation

"You had your parents and I worried for a second there," Laughed Sylas

Just as Arthur was lost in thoughts, Sylas who was still tied up in Sephrina's vines let out an awkward laugh as he tried to show Elias and her that he was innocent

Luckily, neither of them cared too much about him at this moment as they were both currently focused on Arthur who just woke up

"Little Arthur, are you alright? What happened just now? You made both your dad and I extremely worried!"

Rushing to pick up Arthur who was still lost in thoughts, Sephrina didn't even give him a chance to reply before she started bombarding him with all kinds of questions

As for Elias, he just stood there quietly not knowing what he was thinking. However, even at that the relief-filled smile on his face on his could not be hidden.

*Ahem* "Sephrina while I am glad that Arthur is alright but don't, we have something more important? After all, we can't keep Mr. Sylas over there waiting for too long"

"As for what happened just now, we can talk more about it once we're done with the awakening and send him off," said Elias as although he didn't know why but he instinctively felt that regarding what happened to his son it shouldn't be known by outsiders

Time soon passed and before everyone knew it the once chaotic scene had returned to a calm leaving only three pairs of worried and expectant gazes as all three of Elias, Sephrina, and Sylas stood around a cross-legged Arthur as they waited to hear the results of the awakening

However, what they didn't know was that the result would be something none of them ever expected.

After being told how to confirm his awakening by Sylas, although he had previously awakened the chaos seed, but awakening mana was a completely different situation.

With factors like him being a soul from a different world being present, Arthur couldn't be sure even though he was the son of a powerful mage that he could awaken

"However, what in the world is going on?"

Whispering to himself, Arthur couldn't help but be confused by the current situation.

After taking a look within himself, what he saw was completely different from what Sylas described

First off, not only was were there traces of energy in his heart, but they were also present all though his body seemingly connected to the chaos seed or soul world at present

"According to Sylas, then wouldn't this mean that I awakened both aura and mana?"

"However, that in its own right shouldn't be possible. Could it be because of the seed?"

"But if that's the case, what else is different from my awakening and others' awakening?"

Talking to himself, Arthur tried to figure out what exactly was going on, unfortunately, there was too little information to come to any conclusions

"Another thing is why is my aura and mana black? I get that my father's own is red for fire and my mother's own is green for life, but what is black?"

"Sigh…, hopefully since the Thorneheart is a magic family with a long history maybe my mom should have an idea on what it is" Sighed Arthur as he suddenly felt that after today his life would become a lot busier

However, just as Arthur was about to wake up and return to the real world, he suddenly frowned as he realized he still had a serious problem to attend to

"Now what do I tell them I awakened, aura or mana?"
