Chosen

It was the next day, early in the morning. After Reed ate breakfast with his family and watching his mom and dad leave to go to work . He was going to start his daily schedule of training to strengthen his body but he couldn't leave Aily alone. Looking at Aily who was sitting on the couch he was on in the living room he made a decision.

"Hey Aily I'm gonna teach you something. Promise me that you won't tell anyone ok," Reed asked Aily. Now that Aily was part of the Aniston Family, she'll have to learn from the Aniston's Cultivation Manual. Reed trusted Aily, so he wanted her to learn from a superior cultivation manual.

"I promise." Aily promised immediately. Reed was the reason why Aily was here in the first placed. She owed him her life and she knew that as well. Seeing that Reed was willing to teach her something made her really happy so she agreed.

"Good, dad will give you something like what I'm going to give you later in the future and you should take it. But you should not learn from it since what I'm giving you is a lot better" Better is an understatement if you would compare the Aniston Cultivation Manual. The difference would be the heaven and earth.

Reed then led Aily to his room where he then got some papers from his desk and wrote out the entire cultivation manual onto it. The cultivation manual was called "The Divine Phoenix Cultivation Manual". Its not as strong as the the manual Reed was using but it it wasn't that weak compared to his.

"Here," Reed gave the stack of papers to Aily and then started teaching her the basics of the manual. Aily listened attentively to Reed's teaching and copied his actions. And soon after Aily could be seen sitting on Reed's bed meditating.

Reed was standing across her leaning on a wall watching her. He could feel qi starting to accumulate inside of Aily. Aily body started to glow slightly and her small strands of her hair started to float. Soon the qi inside Aily's body started rushing to every portion of her body strengthening it. As this occurred Reed's eyes opened in shock.

"What's happening?" Reed couldn't help to ask himself. It didn't take long for him to figure as he remembered something in his past life. "So she's a chosen" Reed thought to himself. In Reed's past life, there were people who were called the Chosen. The amount of Chosen in Reed's last life could be counted on a hand but they were all legendary figures.

The Chosen were martial artists who are lucky enough to pair themselves with cultivation manuals that they are destined to be. Everyone is destined to a cultivation manual but it would depend on luck and the will of heaven if you ever have the chance to come to learn from the cultivation manual you were destined with.

So it could be seen that Aily was one of the truly lucky people that was able to learn from her destined cultivation manual. Now being a chosen means that the person would be stronger and cultivate even faster than those that are using the same manual. They would even be able to breakthrough easily through every rank.

This meant that Aily would be a prominent figure in the Aniston family in the future . Reed was extremely happy seeing that Aily was a chosen. Who wouldn't be happy if someone you're close is destined to become a prominent figure. Even though Reed was excited inside he didn't show it on the outside as he kept on standing and watched Aily.

The glow around Aily grew and the force of the qi inside Aily risen to another level. Noticing the rise in qi got Reed a little scared for Aily and was about to take action but seeing that Aily's facial expression was normal he didn't take any actions.

An explosion then occurred insides Aily's body. Aily felt the explosion inside her body and could feel her body becoming even stronger. But the explosion didn't stop at one as an explosion occurred in her body more three times. Each time the explosion occurred, Aily broke through a grade. She was now at Bronze Grade Four.

"So this was the power of a chosen," Reed said as his jaw was almost reaching the ground. Reed couldn't believe what just happened. Even though it happened all in front of him and had to believe, he just couldn't. To Reach Bronze Grade Four for Reed, it took him 2 years. But for Aily, it took her a half an hour.

If people were to hear about Reed reaching Bronze Grade Four, they would've called him a one in a million year genius. But if they then were to about Aily reaching Bronze Grade Four in a half an hour. They wouldn't call her a once in a billion genius but as god's child.

Aily opened her eyes in amazement. She knew her strength increased, buy by how much, even couldn't fathom it.

"Congratulation Aily, you're now a Bronze Grade Four martial artist. "Reed congratulated her. Seeing that Reed was happy and congratulating her, Aily knew that she didn't do anything wrong and smiled at him.

"Is a Bronze Grade Four Strong? Aily asked.

"At our age, being a Bronze Grade Four would be really strong, but for those that are older, they would consider us really weak. But you won't have to worry since you'll be even stronger when you grow up," Reed answered back.

Hearing that she was really strong made Aily happy seeing that she didn't fail Reed's expectation.

"Let's go to the gym so that you can get used to your new strength" Reed said. Reed wanted Aily to adapt to her new strength so that she wouldn't somehow break a normal person bone with a slap or something. If that happened, it would be really bad for the Aniston Family.

The day passed quickly as Reed helped Aily adapted to her new found powers and taught her basic martial arts to protect herself. The night then came and it was time to leave for the banquet. Reece and Reed wore a tux while Feena and Aily wore a dress. Aily liked the color blue a lot ever since she wore the blue skirt the other day.So she asked for a blue dress which Feena who now sees her as daughter didn't reject and bought it immediately.

Reece drove the family to Redal Hotel where the banquet was placed at. Upon arriving at the entrance there were a few bodyguards in front asking for invitations sent out by the Vice Family. Reece showed the invitation to the bodyguard and was allowed in.

The room the banquet was hosted in was huge and could fit in about three-hundred people. Light shined upon the room which came from the luxurious chandeliers on the ceiling and lit up candles on the many tables with food on top around the room.

"It's great to that you came to the banquet Reece," a man laughed before he spoke to Reece as he walked out of the crowd.

"It would be wrong of us not to come to the banquet even though we were invited." Reece said to the man. The man was Joshua Vice, head of the Vice Family. Joshua then looked at Feena and greeted her.

"It's good to see the beautiful Feena Aniston once again."

"It's good to see you as well Joshua," Feena replied back with a smile. Feena didn't know about the incident with her son the other day since Reece didn't want Feena to do something drastic. If she did know, she wouldn't be so kind and amiable but would've assaulted Joshua the moment she saw him and broke him bone by bone.

He then looked to at Reece and Aily with a smile and a caring look in his eyes. Seeing how Joshua looked at Reed and Aily, he couldn't help but feel disgust swell inside of him. This man who assigned assassins to kill him the other day, is now smiling and looking him with care acting like he did nothing was just disgusting.

"Reece I don't remember you having a daughter." Joshua said to Reece with a confused look. "Where did this girl come from" Joshua thought to himself. He never gained information about the Anistons having a daughter so he was curious about where she appeared from.

" We adopted her the other day" Feena said with a smile and hugged Aily from the back.

"How nice of you," Joshua said and looked at Aily and kept on talking "You should cherish your new family ok. Being a part of the Anistons Family is god's gift so don't do anything to ruin it."

Aily nodded in response.

"Reed, Aily how about you guys leave and and let the adults talk." Reece said to Reed and Aily.

"Yes dad," Reed then took Aily's hand and started walking towards one of the tables with food on it.
