Being Followed

went drinking for halloween with friends

bought some fireworks

went behind m8s house which is a big hill with the booze and fireworks

set the fireworks off, all fine

went to go down, we remember it rained all nite the previous day

so of course we had to slide on our asses all the way down

my m8 went into the gate and knocked himself out

woke up and complained he lost his hat

I slid into the bushes and through the rotten fence into the road

we walked home limping and my m8 still couldnt find his hat the next morning

We're gonna go back to the past, this time, focusing on Aily and Daniel.

Seeing that Reed was far enough from them, preventing him to over hearing her, Aily smiling face immediately became expressionless. And the aura around her became rather dark, causing Daniel to shiver. Aily then spoke

"So let's get down to business here, I don't know if you're planning something or not. So let me tell you now before you start considering so. I swear to god if you plan to harm Reed in way, I will find you and take away the part that makes you man. I won't even care if it's an accident, If Reed gets hurt, I will cut that part off and crush it under my boot in front of you"

Seeing the seriousness on her face and Aily's unwavering gaze piercing him. Daniel knew Aily wasn't joking one bit.Daniel would've been able to keep his cool being threatened, but being pressured by Aily's aura, Daniel couldn't help but be scared. He was Silver Grade Two, he was stronger among a good amount of the people around this age. But against Aily's aura, his defense was shut down in an instant. Just how strong was she? those words came across his mind.

Aily was a Silver Grade Four, so breaking Daniel's defense was a breeze, and being a Chosen, she was able to exhibit a more powerful strength compared to people at her level.

The reason why Aily threatened him like that, was to protect Reed in the future. She already knew about the oncoming battle against the three other great families, and knowing that Daniel was part of the Vice Family, one of the the great families, she didn't want to take the chance to and threatened Daniel immediately to make him hesitate in some way, if he ever plans on going against the Aniston Family.

Even is she know that Daniel didn't have any malicious intent, she would still threaten him the way she did. For Reed's safety, she would do everything she can. It was the promise she made seven years age, which she plan on keeping.

While Daniel was frightened not knowing what to say, Aily went back to eating her pizza she bought from the school cafeteria. This silence went on until Reed and Kendall came back fifteen minutes later.

When Reed got back to the table with Kendall, he couldn't help but notice the pale looking face of Daniel and his consistent shivering. He then looked at Aily and mumbled in his thoughts "What did this girl do to him?"

"So what did you guys talk about?" Reed asked the two of them.

"Nothing much," Aily answered back. Nothing much? Could speaking nothing much cause a man to look so pale and shivering to his boots? Reed knew he wasn't going to get an honest answer and he didn't plan on pursuing it. Reed couldn't help but sigh inwardly and sat back down at the table and wait for the bell to ring for the next class.

Reed and Daniel were now sitting back at their desk in their classroom as the bell for class rung five minutes ago.

"So what did Aily say to you?" Reed asked Daniel immediately. Hearing the question, Daniel hesitated but soon told Reed everything of what happened between him and Aily. Hearing the story, Reed couldn't help but feel frustrated.

"Why would threaten a man with castration? That's one of the last things you would ever threaten a man with.. But seeing how shaken up Daniel is, it could be seen he won't even dare of thinking of going against us." Reed thought.

"I'm sorry for being threatened by Aily. I apologize in her stead and Aniston Family." Hearing the apology coming from Reed, Daniel shook his head and said

"No it's fine. Even though I was shaken up due to her threats. She was doing it all for you. Which I respect. I don't feel offended one bit so there's no need to apologize." Seeing that Daniel didn't want Reed to apologize, Reed didn't.

"Ok, no apologizing, I'll just owe a favor. How about that?"

"That sounds good." Hearing that he was able to get a favor from Reed who was the heir to the Aniston Family, Daniel immediately took it. Even though Daniel was the heir to one of the four great families. Having a favor from the heir of the strongest of the four would help him a lot in the future.

The day passed and school ended. Reed, Aily, Kendall were walking home with alongside with Daniel who wanted to walk with them as he wanted to talk with them and get to know them better. When Daniel asked to walk with them. Aily looked at him with a deathly looked which caused him to waver. Aily's action were both caught by Reed and Kendall, but they said nothing about it. In the end, Daniel was able to overcome his fear and asked once again, which Reed agreed to.

On the streets walking home, Kendall was quiet while Reed, Aily and Daniel talked about how there classes were. Normally, the group would talk about training and how to strengthen their forces, but with Daniel walking with them. They had to keep quiet about it and talk about things that Daniel could relate to. And that was school.

As they talked, Reed, Aily and Kendall was able to sense a group of people following them. They looked at each other for a second to prevent Daniel from catching on and nodded. At a stoplight of an intersection, Reed spoke up.

"Aily and I need to go buy something for the house. You guys go ahead and go home," Kendall already understood what Aily and Reed already planned on doing and nodded. While Daniel on the other hand didn't understand. Daniel then asked

"Couldn't you call a servant of yours and do it for you?"

"It'll be faster for us to buy it. I'm gonna have my people pick me up. So you go on ahead and go home." Daniel didn't anything else and shrugged his shoulders and turned away walking home as the signal for walking was on with Kendall walking behind them.

Seeing that Kendall and Daniel were now out of his sight, he then turned to Aily. "How many people do you think is following us?" Aily immediately answered back with confidence.

"Eight people," Reed smiled since Aily's guess was spot on. Over the seven years, one of the Reed trained everyone a lot was in sharpening their senses. Always being aware of ones surrounding is pretty helpful in keeping them self safe and allows them to notice if people are following them. Like right now, Reed, Aily and Kendall was able to notice someone following them.

"Correct, it seems that the training did pretty well." Reed complimented Aily causing her to smile.

"I wonder who has the gall to even follow us."

"Well figure that out once we confront them in a bit," Reed then started walking down the streets, which was the opposite direction of Kendall and Reed with Aily who was walking right beside them. The two of them walked into an alley to stay away from the public's eye and turned around to see eight guys in front of them.

170 words less guys sorry. But I needed an good spot to stop and well here it is.

This chapter felt a little lack luster in my opinion as, writing this chap was just boring for me. Next chap though, I'm gonna be happy writing as it's gonna have action YEAH!

Another thing I'm gonna talk about is how I'm gonna release chaps. I'll do three weeks a day, but it'll be on random days. Mostly I'll release on friday, Saturday, Sunday and maybe monday since I have free time on the days prior.
