Ch 11:- Beast Weapons

As Rayne was exiting the library he again spotted the duo of blood sucker and blood bag. With the the blood bag named Layla kneeling on the ground and saying something but he cannot hear it due to the presence of some crystal that could block the sound which seemed too much absurd and illogical but then again his presence in this world is also illogical.

So, Rayne just ignore them and exit the library where he spotted Vorden just outside the library speaking to himself. This time he was able to come to a conclusion that Vorden was suffering from Multiple personality disorder. He then spotted Peter standing and staring at Vorden so he stealthily moved so as not to be seen.

After making an escape towards his next class which was pretty much empty. He retreated towards the back of the class and closed his eyes and put his head down and waited for the other people to arrive.

After sometime people started to enter and then Vorden entered the class he came and sat next to Rayne. Rayne feeling a presence near him so he lifted his head and just simply said 'yoo' to Vorden then again he put his head down. After sometime the class was nearly full of students.

Quinn and Peter entered the class together they saw Vorden was already in his seat with Rayne just beside him.

"Oh hey guys, how you doing?" Vorden said with a smile.

Peter went to sit in his seat to the right of Vorden while Quinn went to sit in his seat to the left of Vorden in between Rayne and Vorden.

"Hey, are you feeling better?" Peter asked, "Earlier it seemed like you were kinda sulking."

"Yeah don't worry, I just got kinda thrown around a bit by the second years and it got me pretty down," Vorden replied.

"What happened at the assembly hall?" Quinn asked.

Then Vorden's face slightly changed, it was as if he was trying to hold something back. Vorden clenched his fist for a few seconds and finally relaxed his hand.

"Guy's don't worry about it too much, you know I'm strong and know I can handle myself."

All though Peter was quite satisfied now with Vorden, as he seemed to be his regular self, Quinn noticed that Vorden seemed to be holding something back, all most suppressing something when he asked that question.

While this was happening Rayne was hearing all the conversation that was happening in the class but what caught his attention was how Vorden actually started a fight with the second year in the assembly hall and all the students were speaking about how he was a demon, monster, freak, weirdo, and crazy. Rayne could also agree with them but he couldn't still judge the character of Vorden right now so he kept stayed silent.

After hearing these words Quinn noticed that Vorden stayed their motionless with his head down, he hadn't even written any notes down in his notebook about the lesson.

At the end of class, the teacher Dell projected a screen in front of the whole class. There was a list of names each sorted into a different category.

"Please look at this carefully and see where your name is, as tomorrow will be the start fo your combat classes," Del explained.

The list was split up into several different categories each one was different depending on what type of ability you had. Elemental abilities, Transformation abilities, Enhancement abilities, and so on.

That's when Rayne also noticed that his and a few other names were not on the list including Vorden's.

"If your name is not on the list it's because either your Ability doesn't fall into one of the categories or you are an original with a unique ability. You are free to choose to go to whichever class you believe suits you. Students are also able to switch between combat classes if they wish. These are not set in stone but the schools recommendation based on your ability."

The list of available classes was then sent to each student's wristwatch where they were to register for the type of class, they would be interested In.

"I wonder what combat class I should choose I don't know maybe ask Quinn about the details, " Rayne thought as he looked at the long list.

After classes had finished for the Day, Vorden had offered to help Peter with his training again. Especially since tomorrow the two of them would be in the same combat classes, the elemental class.

"Hey, do you want to come with us?" Peter asked.

"Nah, I won't bother you guys, I wouldn't be much help anyway," Quinn replied.

"What about you Rayne would you like to come with us," Peter asked.

"Nah, I wouldn't bother you I will just spent my entire time in library trying to figure out what ability is the best, " Rayne replied.

Peter was pleased that it seemed like the group had gotten back normal again excluding Rayne who seemed to be the odd one out he doesn't speak much but if you ask him about some science questions he starts to geek like some nerd which he likes the most. There was no tension between the three of them and Peter whished it would stay that way forever.

Just then when Quinn and Rayne had left, Vorden and Peter were left in the, that's when Vorden asked Peter a question.

"Hey, have you seen Quinn hanging around with a girl lately?" Vorden asked.

Come to think of it, I saw him exit with a girl at the library. It was the same one who was at the test with us that day, with the bow and arrow."

After Peter had given an answer, for a split-second, Peter felt like he saw the expression on Vorden's face change. But Quinn blinked and looked again and Vorden seemed to be fine.

"Maybe he's gone and got himself a little girlfriend." Said Vorden laughing.

As Quinn was walking towards the science lab of the school Rayne was also following just behind him to see what he was going to do. He was only able to follow him because of the system and his feet which like makes next to no sound when walking. While, the system had told him how much distance should he keep so as not to get detected which actual initiated a quest.

'This seems to be a simple quest and the reward is I don't know what to say about it, ' Rayne thought.

As Rayne was following Quinn he saw him enter the school science lab and take some 4 to 5 test tube with some cork stopper. Rayne almost facepalm himself seeing what Quinn actually stole.

'Is he dumb or what he could have just bought them on wholesale from online or it could be just that he doesn't have money that could be a reason let's keep on tracking this fledgling before he vanishes,' Rayne said to himself.

'Seems like he is meeting Layla probably to collect blood it is becoming late maybe I should probably spent some time in the library to learn about history and some martial arts technique,' Rayne thought and made his way towards the library.

In the library again he was in the history, social and cultural study section and he could see that a large portion of vital knowledge was missing so he just moved towards the martial section and this time he just picked up a book on the basics of taekwondo and went to the reception area and redeemed it to take it to his dorm room.

In the dorm room he first opened the book and started to warm up and go through the taekwondo poomse or Katas or forms and started to slowly memorise it by the time he had completed all the forms he was all sweaty. He checked the clock and it was already 10:00 PM so he went towards the cafeteria to take his nightly meal.

After returning to his room he decided that he should complete the quest today night only instead of tomorrow so he started to complete his daily quest and finally at 1:00 am he had completed it and he was super tired with sweat as he sat on the bed to take some rest he fell asleep immediately.

In the morning at around 8:30 am he woke up and he noticed that he was smelling bad so he immediately took a short shower and somehow brushed his teeth and ran out of his dorm room looking all messy.

He sprinted and finally he reached the cafeteria it was 8:45 am and the whole cafeteria was somewhat empty. Not wanting to start a day with empty stomach so he picked up a pair of banana and started eating it immediately and finally at 8:55 am he reached the class room looking all tired.

All the students for a moment were looking at him weirdly Rayne turned towards the teacher and with a bow asked if he could enter the class which the teacher complied with a nod. He went towards the back of the the class and sat beside Peter. He then noticed that Vorden was sitting with other high levelers.

Rayne asked Quinn which class he was choosing to which Quinn answered that he was choosing the beast weapons class. So, Rayne immediately went to the list and submitted a request for the beast weapons class registry.
