Chapter 83: One Person Escaped

After a brief pause, they added, "Stay alert, anything can happen." The call ended.

With the call disconnected, the remaining twenty-four members gathered around the person who spoke with the boss, eager to know what had transpired.

Sharing the truth, the person said seriously, "The boss advised us to stay alert."

They glanced at each member and continued, "We should thoroughly search the entire basement again to prevent any further issues. Our lives are at stake here."

They distributed the remaining eighteen members in different directions within the basement, while six individuals, including themselves, stayed in place to ensure the captives didn't attempt to escape.
